The Light, The Truth, And The Way

The Light, The Truth, The Way

Please!! Tell me it isn’t so.

We won’t be saved by UFO’s.

There has got to be a better way.

Maybe spiritualism has the right thing to say?

Is it time for an evolutionary jump?

Or, maybe our savior is Mr. Trump?

There are thousands of possible answers.

Guessing right is like curing cancer.

The most comfortable answer for me .

Is the second coming of Christ, you see.

Things will be wrapped up in the end.

Good will triumph over evil, my friend.

You may insist that you are right.

But, in the end, good wins the fight.

If you’re praying for something better.

Take a look at His Holy Letters.

Known as the Holy Bible.

With His Word, there is no liable.

The only thing needed is faith.

That is all that it will take.

The Holy Spirit will do the rest.

He’ll guide you to the very best.

The truth, as it is in Jesus.

He is the answer that pleases.

The Secret Life Of Livermold (Part 3)

The Secret Life Of Livermold (Part 3)

The next day, I really dug in.

Black Beard was where to begin.

It seems he killed all on board.

All the gold increased his hoard.

For some reason, he headed north.

But, where to?, was my retort.

Many say he went to Oak Island.

Formally Smith’s Island,

also Gloucester Isle for awhile.

But why there? It made me smile.

All wild tales, nothing but myth.

Many others lay claim to The Money Pit.

Why the connection with Oak Island

And Black Beard? I felt like crying.

No one can prove if there’s a treasure.

Its been put to every measure.

It even spawned a TV series.

It is enough to make me weary.

That evening, while in the recliner,

I started thinking, I had a reminder.

This all tied together somehow.

The question is: What do I do now?

Then, the ship started moving again.

It grew bigger and I was sucked in.

Black Beard and his men had captured the crew.

Suddenly, I knew what I had to do.

I yelled “Black Beard, don’t kill them.”

“I have a way we can all win.”

Black Beard pulled me aside.

“What cha mean, or I bust yer hide.”

I told him I was an engineer.

I built things. I made that very clear.

I said for him to give me one day.

“I will draw up plans” I say.

“Make your treasure safe forever.”

He saw that I was very clever.

“What do you want for doing this?”

“Only the lives of this crew. I insist.”

“They will all be needed for the work.”

He gave me a day and I started to work.

I laid out The Money Pit on Oak Island.

I worked hard. “I can picture it”, I sighed.

Two ways it will be flooded if ever invaded.

All the layers of the deep pit.

Booby trapped when it fit.

It must go way below sea level.

“This will work. No one will meddle.”

Black Beard loved the plans.

“Where will we do this, if you can?”

“A place called Oak Island will do.”

The pirates sailed to the place with the crew.

Two years of hard work to complete it all.

Black Beard kept his word, after all.

All were set free with the fear of God installed.

If anyone talked, they would be keel hauled.

I popped in and out a few times.

Never missed or taken for a crime.

When done, I popped home for the last time.

This secret life was only mine.

I kept my word to Black Beard.

I have never said a word.

The Secret Life Of Livermold (Part 2)

The Secret Life Of Livermold (Part 2)

The picture of the ship was still in place.

No indication what happened? A waste.

I went to bed with much tribulations.

Whatever happened, I had no indication.

Next day, I went on the computer.

I looked up the Spanish ship intruder.

I had almost given up.

Then, I found it. What luck.

There was such a ship in 1781

I was sure it was the right one.

It was scuttled by pirates, gold was taken.

It was off the Virginia coast, if not mistaken.

The pirate was believed to be Black Beard.

The famous Oak Island treasure? How weird.

This made no sense to me in any way.

I had to make sense of it today.

I used a magnifying glass on the ship.

I saw the name. I could barely read it.

It said the S S Scuttle.

This was a real muddle.

I read all about Black Beard and Oak Island.

Then, I just sat there in silence.

I looked at the painting again.

Soon, it seemed to move within.

It grew rapidly larger and I was sucked in.

I was in the first mate’s cabin then.

There was a knock on the door.

Captain Crutch, looking the same as before.

“Have you got the Captain’s Log up to date?”

“Get to work on it. Don’t want to be late.”

“Aye, aye Captain,” I said with ease.

“Can I have a word in private, please.”

“What is it First Mate Livermold?”

“Black Beard is the problem, history told.”

“Black Beard!! The cut throat pirate?”

“Yes Sir. For your gold, he may try it.”

“History said he stole your gold.”

“Then sunk your ship, or so it’s told.”

“I am only warning you Captain.”

“Do you think I am a sap then?”

“I have been ready for pirates daily.”

“It will be his ship that sinks, maybe.”

Then there was a shout from above.

“Pirates!! Man those cannons ya lugs!!”

The Captain rushed to the deck.

I started to follow in respect.

Suddenly, I got really dizzy and fell.

As I fell, I gave a yell.

I landed in my recliner again.

I was hugging it like an old friend.

I was shaking. It had happened again.

This is real. I cannot pretend.

I could not understand what was going on.

But, intended to find out before too long.

The Secret Life Of Livermold

The Secret Life Of Livermold (Part 1)

Time to sit down and just relax.

The recliner is where it’s at.

I kick back and give a sigh.

Raise up the feet on the first try.

I’m getting comfy, looking around.

I see the picture that I’d found.

A picture of a sailing ship.

Framed and looking real fit.

I had hung it on the wall.

It looked pretty good after all.

I had found it in an old trunk.

In the basement, under junk.

Got it when I bought this mansion.

Bought as is; maybe I can win.

Suddenly, the ship began to move.

Then, it grew larger, I behoove.

It encompassed me totally.

I was on board. Somebody hold me.

The ship was rocking on the waves.

Salty spray hitting on my face.

Sailors saw me and gave a shout.

“Stow away” “What’s he about?”

I couldn’t make myself clear.

I didn’t know how I got here.

They were thinking I was crazy.

“Throw him in the hold, ya laze’s!”

The Captain gave the order.

They took me to the hold in quick order.

The Captain came to talk to me.

“Why are you on my ship?”

I didn’t give him any lip.

I told him all that I know.

Told him I had nowhere to go.

“You expect me to believe that crap?”

“You think I’m a stupid cargo rat?”

I said “No. But, the story is true.”

“I’m not trying to make a fool of you.”

“What year is it where you came from?”

“2017, May is about to come.”

“What!!—– It is 1781.”

“What the hell??,” I yelled.

“Have I died and gone to hell??”

“You may wish it, from what I can tell.”

“What is your name, landlubber?”

“I am Tracy Lovermold, Gov’ner.”

“Captain to you. That’s a weird name.”

“So I have been told. Drives me insane.”

“Call me Captain Crutch.”

He said as much.

“Another weird name, I believe.”

“I use a crutch. I won’t deceive.”

The Captain showed him his wooden leg.

“What kind of ship is this keg?”

“A merchant ship. We sail for Spain.”

“Tell me. What is the ship’s name?”

“S. S. Scuttle is her name and fame.”

“We bring a load of gold back to the queen.”

“Where are we now? Caribbean, it seems.”

“Off the coast of America, headed home.”

“Any pirates in this area?” I said.

“Why are you mentioning pirates? You’re dead!!”

“No, no. I only mentioned it because of history.”

“What about history? Talk, or you’re history.”

“Many ships with gold sank or were scuttled by pirates.”

“It is in history books.—– I’ll be quiet.”

“What you say is true.”

“That’s why I tend to maybe trust you.”

“Also, you’re clothes are very strange.”

“ Maybe you tell the truth, or I’m insane.”

“If on this ship, you’ll have to work.”

“What was your trade in this quirk?”

“I was an engineer.” I said.

“What the hell is that?” he led.

“I make things, most not invented yet.”

“Educated eh? I have a job for you set.”

“My first mate died in route.”

“It is tough without him about.”

“You will do his job. Keep up the log.”

“Do good and I won’t feed you to the hogs.”

“Sleep here tonight. First mates bunk  a mess.”

“I will get it cleaned, then you’re all set.”

I went to sleep on some sacks of oats.

Rocked to sleep by the rocking of the boat.

I woke up with a start, scaring the cat.

I was back in my recliner. How about that??

Was this all a dream?

The ship’s picture was on the wall, it seemed.

What the hell just happened to me?

My clothes were damp and smelled like the sea.

I had a few oats on my clothes.

What happened here, nobody will know.

Shifting Reality, Or The Matrix?

     Shifting Reality, Or The Matrix?

Something is a little different every day.

Slight changes, in their own way.

The room seems slightly cleaner.

True?, or am I a dreamer?

Sometimes things shift during the day.

Almost imperceptible, I would say.

Be attuned and you will see.

Sometimes, even changes in me.

Do we slip in our reality?

Are we aware of our quality?

Most noticeable is loss of things.

Or, things moved without any means.

Less noticeable is how the day flows.

Not as smooth as it should go.

Is there something in between?

Is it things are not what they seem?

A daily shifting to a different place.

So minute that we miss our fate.

Try to be alert to any change.

It becomes apparent, though not explained.

It is enough to blow your mind.

Sorry, this is not so kind.

Yet, what is happening here?

Can anyone make it all clear?

First step is to become awake.

Observe all things. Whatever it takes.

Keep in mind, to keep it fair.

Be attuned to what’s in the air.

Or, maybe it’s in the water.

Are we being fed on fodder?

The answer lies beyond me.

Maybe you will be able to see.

It is all part of our reality.

Or, part of the matrix. Really?

You And I

 You And I

This I know.

It’s very clear.

I am happy

when you’re near.

I can’t wait

till the day.

You say you’re mine.

We’re on our way.

Just a little time to call our own.

Before too long, we’ll buy a home.

Then we will have a child or two.

At least one, I’ll name after you.

Before long will come the day.

When we’ll both say it’s o.k.

When you’re near

I’m on cloud nine.

I don’t care

If it’s all the time.

When I try

to think it through.

Every thing

ends with you.

Just a little time to call our own.

Before too long, we’ll buy a home.

Then we’ll have a child or two.

At least one, I’ll name after you.

Before long will come the day.

When we’ll both say it’s o.k.

The Revenge Of Kronos (Epilog)

      The Revenge Of Kronos (Epilog)

After all things settled down,

Sirle and Anika were seen hanging around.

There was a true romance brewing here.

Anika wanted him near. That was clear.

She found that he was skilled in many things.

She took him to the 8th parallel universe.

The home of the Wizards, as written in verse.

They practiced every form of self defense.

He was near her equal in many events.

Then, some Wizards said: “We detect magic.”

“Don’t worry Anika. This is not tragic.”

“We detect it in Sirle here.”

She reached out and pulled him near.

“Could it be his magic is latent?”

“We can awaken it. Just say your intent”

Sirle stated he wished to do magic too.

They said “It is totally up to you.”

They awakened his abilities with a spell.

He then registered as powerful as hell.

He now had a lot to learn.

Anika made him a magic bookworm.

He was a fast learner, and did great.

Anika said “I need to practice before it’s too late.”

They both had a good laugh over that.

They were insuperable, that was a fact.

Before long Sirle proposed marriage.

Anika almost fainted and had to be carried.

They decided to get married in the church.

The one in Jeru Salem, back on earth.

It was the biggest wedding ever seen.

They decided to make a home on the 8th world, it seems.

There, he started the True Church Of God.

They hadn’t had one yet, which was odd.

So ends the story of Anika and Sirle.

They are as happy as a smile.

As for Kronos, if you listen close, you will see.

You can hear him screaming for eternity.

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 7)

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 7)

All the Warlocks arrived.

They circled the church with pride.

Magic blasted out all windows and doors.

They all flew forward, like a giant hoard.

They flew in doors and windows.

Everyone within began to tremble.

The Warlocks immediately cast a spell.

Most cast a shield to protect, as well.

Others cast killing magic at those inside.

Magic was flying far and wide.

Sirle covered Anika to keep her safe.

She was surprised, but this wasn’t her fate.

She never had a man protect her before.

She was liking it more and more.

She put her arm around him and hugged him close.

Sirle thought that she was the very most.

As each spell shot out, the Warlock fell to dust.

All were so inflamed by their hatred and lust,

that they didn’t notice what was happening.

When they did, they fought harder, zapping.

Soon, every Warlock was turned to dust.

Wizards looked at the mess with disgust.

Kronos saw the Warlocks fly into the church.

“Victory is ours!! Let’s toast to what it’s worth.”

He poured a drink for Ikurea and himself.

He quickly slipped hemlock in hers. He felt

a little sorry for what he did , but he would

not share his empire, even if he should.

They raised their glasses and drank them dry.

Soon, Ikurea fell to the floor. Dead to the sky.

“Sorry Ikurea, maybe I did love you.”

“But, now, I have other things to do.”

“Soon Anika will be brought here.”

“She is going to have much to fear.”

Then, suddenly, the Black Fire appeared.

A demon was within, who Kronos feared.

“Your victory has failed.” the demon said.

“Everyone of your army is dead.”

“How can that be ??” Kronos stammered.

“They were annihilated by God’s hammer.”

“Anika has beaten you again.”

“There was no way in hell you could ever win.”

“Now, you MUST pay the price.”

“I told you failure would NOT be nice.”

The demon beckoned Kronos to him.

Kronos tried to resist, but couldn’t win.

Kronos was pulled into the Black Fire.

He instantly aged 800+ years. How dire.

He was screaming as the demon pulled him down.

No trace of him was ever found.

Immediately, the cavern caved in.

Sealing within it all the sin.

Back at the church, the Normals were cheering.

They were praising Anika, but she wasn’t hearing.

She said “The hero here today was Jeru.”

“Now, I have a proposal for all of you.”

“To honor this great Wizard for eternity”

“I want you to change the name of the city with me.”

“Instead of Salem, it will now be called Jeru Salem.”

So, it became so. Over the years, it became Jerusalem.

The Wizards magically repaired the church.

After the tonic finally became inert.

Anika and Sirle were becoming close.

They had gotten rid of an evil ‘ghost.’

So ends the story of Kronos Revenge.

May all stay in peace until the end.

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 6)

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 6)

Kronos and Ikurea were watching her crystal ball.

By looking in it, they could see all.

There were skirmishes here and there.

His Warlocks were fighting everywhere.

Things seemed to be going his way.

“Anika and the Wizards would rule the day

they thought they could beat Kronos!”

“They will soon learn I am no ghost.”

Then, he saw that the Wizards seemed to be

moving toward a central point, to me.

He said “What is that place they go?”

Ikurea said “The Church Of The True God, you know.”

“Ahh, that figures. That is holy ground to them.”

“They must think their God will save them.”

“I will tell all Warlocks thru their wands,

to attack the place. Soon, they will be gone.”

“We will make a mockery of their God.”

“I am the one carrying the iron rod!!”

“Kill all in their sanctuary, except Anika”

“Bring her to me!!. I will meet ya.”

“She will bow to me before I do her in.”

“There is no way in hell that she can win.”

Jeru was bringing buckets of the tonic by wagon.

He was being safe, yet smart, like a dragon.

He was nearing the church,

when a Warlock hit him with a frozen curse.

Wizards saw him fall off the wagon.

The Warlock zapped away.  He wasn’t lagging.

Anika rushed to his side.

He was gone. No way to save his hide.

In his frozen state, he looked like he was saying a word.

She began to wonder if it could be heard.

She unfroze his lungs and vocal cords.

Her ear was close to his mouth,  air roared.

It sounded to her like “salt!!”

What did he mean by that? She halted.

“Get all these buckets to the church.”

All on the wagon was brought in the church.

Anika said ”Start pouring the tonic into the ditch.”

“What about this bag of salt that came with it?”

Then, it hit her like a thunderbolt from  head to  feet.

“HALT!!” she yelled. “Add a pinch of salt to each.”

“Are you sure of this?” asked a couple of Wizards.

“Yes!!” “Salt is the final ingredient,—- I’m sure.”

They added the salt, like it was a cure.

The tonic began to bubble. It became the color of dirt.

They all grabbed a bucket and went to work.

Once the ditch was completely filled,

it was hard to see the tonic. It had chilled.

They all rushed back inside.

Just before the first Warlocks arrived.

Would the tonic work? Or, was Anika wrong?

When I return, I will reveal that song.

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 5)

The Revenge Of Kronos (Chapter 5)

The Chief Herbal Wizard had a plan.

“If it will work.—- I think it can.”

He had a tonic that was new.

It was infused with magic too.

“When the final ingredient is introduced,

you’ll have about an hour before it’s capote.”

“Anyone who crosses over it,

then does magic, will lose their grip.”

“They will instantly be turned to ash.”

“No more Warlocks to bug our ass.”

“How to put it to use? I don’t have a plan.”

“I think I do”, said Anika, as she raised her hand.

“We will get all Warlocks in a central place.”

“It will be surrounded by a small ditch in place.”

“The ditch will be filled with the tonic.”

“We’ll already be inside. How ironic.”

“The Warlocks will try to destroy us with magic.”

“They will think we’re trapped. It will be tragic.”

“But, when they use magic they are turned to ash.

“Their hatred will drive them to their last.”

“And where would this place be, pray tell?”

“The Church Of The True God in Salem”

“The city’s biggest church Normals pray in.”

“The head priest is a man named Sirle.”

“I met him after the second war,” Anika smiled.

“I am sure he will help us out.”

“He is a man of God, without a doubt.”

They took Anika at her word.

If she said it would, it would occur.

The plans were made and details worked out.

Anika went to see Sirle. He gave a shout.

“Hi, Anika. It’s good to see you again.”

“Trouble is brewing, right to the brim.”

“That’s why I’m here. We need some help.”

“I came to you because I know how you felt.”

“You said back then, that you

wished there was more that you could do.”

Well, now there is, if you don’t mind?”

“I’ll always help you Anika, any time.”

She stared into his beautiful blue eyes.

They looked almost like they could hypnotize.

She said “Thank you,” as she blushed.

She told him her plan. “It depends on us.”

He set some altar boys to work digging the ditch.

They were young and energetic. They were quick.

Anika said goodbye, after lingering for awhile.

She left Sirle with a lingering smile.

Back at ‘home’ Jeru, the Chief Herbal Wizard,

was hard at work making the tonic, she heard.

He said he would physically bring it there.

He didn’t want magic used anywhere.

He was cautious. He didn’t want it to fail.

He would leave no magical trail.

All the preparations took some time.

We will look in again to see what we find.
