The Time App.

          The Time App.

I have invented a ‘time app.’

What do you think of that?

Go back in time a little bit.

15 min., 30 min., up to 2 hrs.

Lost precious time is now ours.

I tested out the beta app.

I was driving like a bat.

Soon, red lights came flashing.

He was behind me, not passing.

He said he had me on radar.

Going faster than a falling star.

Just before he started writing.

I pushed the app. Like lightening,

I was driving 15 min. earlier.

I slowed down, just to be sure.

Soon, I saw him behind a thicket.

He was squirming to give a ticket.

I went by at the legal speed limit.

His radar was on me for a minute.

I never saw him after that.

Saved myself a bunch of crap.

What if going back caused a problem?

Changing things may not solve them.

I could make a mint off this.

It would be a hit, but it could go amiss.

The ending could be tragic, you see.

This could be the end of me.

What do you think of it all?

Get a patent and roll with the fall?

Or, leave it alone as something taboo?

What to do, I’ll never know.—Do you?

Drowning In Misery

   Drowning In Misery

You think you know.

Where it is I want to go.

You think you know me.

What I want and what I see.

You think you hear.

What it is I fear.

You think you hear me.

How I would love to be free.

You think you feel.

The pain I have that is real.

You think you feel me.

You have no idea, don’t you see?

You try to touch.

The real me I don’t entrust.

You try to touch me.

I won’t get close to be free.

You think you smell.

All that happened when I fell.

You think you smell me.

On this point I don’t agree.

You think you see.

You don’t see how it can be.

You think you see me.

Bent and paralyzed. What’s to see?

You want to care.

It is more than I can bare.

You want to care for me.

I can’t stop you. Can’t you see?

The Flying Monkey’s

        The Flying Monkey’s

I spent many years in my search.

Following every lead, for what it’s worth.

You may think it all kind of funny.

But, I found the land of the flying monkey.

It is a place shrouded in mystery.

A place that doesn’t have a history.

It is an island lost in time.

It is a place that’s hard to find.

I arrived in the murky mist.

I really wasn’t sure of this.

My crew and I went ashore.

Like a demon opened a door.

We couldn’t see much in the mist.

I pointed the way and made a fist.

A jungle started at the shore.

We used machete’s to make a door.

We hacked a trail for a couple miles.

We marched along in single file.

Then, we heard a screeching noise.

It sounded like a monkey toy.

Overhead, something flew by.

Scared me so bad I thought I would die.

More things were seen flying around.

Then one landed on the ground.

A flying monkey. There was no doubt.

This is what our trip was all about.

They kept their distance. They were smart.

We couldn’t coax one into a cart.

I wouldn’t shoot one. It’s not my way.

We found a skeleton the very next day.

We had pictures and we had the bones.

It was time to leave for home.

We had our proof they did exist.

There was little that we missed.

We kept the location secret.

Protected the monkey’s, with no regret.

The flying monkeys are still there .

Living free and flying everywhere.

We have the proof they do exist.

That’s all we wanted. Cross it off the list.

Creatures Of The Unknown

       Creatures Of The Unknown

There are people; creatures that are around.

They come and go with an eerie sound.

They are not of this world, it’s true.

They could be coming just for you.

Call them creatures of the night.

To see one is a real fright.

They are the basis of many legends.

Real or not?—– It all depends.

Many strange things lead back to them.

To believe is more than just a whim.

Would you take a chance it’s all a hoax?

No more real than a ghost?

Have you heard of the shadow people?

Black eyed children and haunted steeples?

A lot of things from the lunatic fringe.

Most make no sense until the end.

But, by then, it is way too late.

It has already sealed your fate.

Do not mess with the occult or unknown.

The result is not good, it has been shown.

You’ll end up a part of a scary tale.

One quoted over a glass of ale.

Your fate will become a fright.

Told around campfires late at night.

Compare it to the bogyman children fear.

Maybe, it was ‘them’ that was near?

Children have vivid imaginations.

Amazing how they see the situation.

So heed my words and be on guard.

Learning the truth can be real hard.

Moderately Confused

      Moderately Confused

I want it all, with nothing lacking.

I want it today. Just like fracking

Bring it on. Give me more.

Before I head on out the door.

Love is a four letter word.

You’ll give it all, I’ve heard.

Give me exactly what I need.

No, don’t give me a joint of weed.

I want the real thing.

No, not Coke. I want a fling.

Quit trying to dodge the request.

Let’s put this whole thing to rest.

Do you love me or do you not?

I have pinned you on the spot.

Give the answer and tell the truth.

This is not an election booth.

I have chased you long and hard.

I ran half way across the yard.

It’s time to make some front page news.

It is not time to pick and choose.

Do not say I am too demanding.

What we need is some understanding.

Two people meet. They fall in love.

They are like two turtle doves.

They love each other in every way.

It is not a dirty thing to say.

I’m not weird, I am horny

I know you simply adore me.

Why hold back. The time is now.

Don’t look at me with that scowl.

Lovers are as lovers do.

What do you mean I’m such a fool?

I don’t only talk about sex.

Like it is some kind of hex.

I just want to show you that I care.

Put a flower in your hair.

You’re not falling for any of this.

Can’t I even have a kiss?

What the hell? As she slammed the door.

All I wanted was a little more.

Magic Today

             Magic Today

I shouldn’t be so naive, they say.

Magic does not exist today.

I knew that, but then it happened.

It didn’t come to attack them.

It came in the night, like oozing ochre.

It was enough to scare the Joker.

You could tap in, if you believed.

No telling what you could achieve.

Practice makes perfect, they say.

It took much more than a day.

All the magic described in books

could be done, even by crooks.

It is a different world we now live in.

The best sorcerer would always win.

There was nothing online to help.

This wasn’t for just any whelp.

It took belief and a strong connection.

A good defense for protection.

Lightning bolts were flying fast & heavy.

One blasted out the local levy.

The flood wiped out the evil wizard.

Others said they would fry our gizzards.

The battle goes on with little relief.

One is lucky if they don’t lose their teeth.

How long will this magic stay?

For us, it is impossible to say.

But, while it lasts there will be no peace.

Evil wizards play for keeps.

A Frightened Prophet

      A Frightened Prophet

When I was small I had dreams.

Many came true, or so it seems.

As an adult I have dreams & visions.

I guess it’s time to make a decision.

Do I tell others about this gift?

Many will try to take advantage of it?

I am not sure if I want any of that.

Maybe it is better off  where it’s at.

I could be like the ‘sleeping prophet.’

Edgar Casey. Many bought it.

He came up with many treatments.

Prophesied about many seen events.

Some have come true. Others, not yet.

If all came true, he would be set.

I am not sure I want all that.

But, many things are on my back.

I feel like others need to know.

End of time comes fast, not slow.

Many events will happen rapidly.

Sounds almost like a ‘rap’ to me.

But, a rap song wouldn’t do it justice.

Many diseases coming to infest us.

Every tragedy coming down the pike.

Nothing coming you would like.

I don’t preach gloom and doom.

But, there is little working room.

The events coming can’t be avoided.

No matter what, you can’t avoid it.

So, what to do with visions like this?

Any way you look at it, it’s a bitch.

Evil Knows No End

               Evil Knows No End

In the world of women, you’re one of a kind.

Knifing, lying, corrupt, person of one mind.

You’ll lie to your own mother to get ahead.

Even your husband would prefer others in bed.

You think you are way above the law.

You think you can get away with it all.

People have seen through your lying.

They are tired of your whining & crying.

They say to fess up & face your fate.

Do it now,  before it is too late.

Time in the slammer will do you good.

Teach you to be truthful, like you should.

You have a charity type foundation.

Most goes to your own imagination.

You have claimed to represent the people.

Meantime you are plugging all leek holes.

You are headed down the path to the big “S”.

Or maybe worse. You’ve made such a mess.

There seems no way to stop you now.

We will all suffer for your mistakes somehow.

A day will come when you will pay the price.

It will be very high because you haven’t been nice.

You see only what you think will be better for you.

You care less if the rest of us parrish too.

Susie Darling

          Susie Darling

Oh, Oh Susie darling.

 I thought you knew?

You were all the world to me.

All my dreams come true.

That’s from an old time song, you see.

Yet, I don’t know how we went wrong.

I agreed with you all along.

Now, I am crying all night long.

Just like the words to that old song.

Susie, can you hear me?

I am crying out to you.

You were all the world to me.

Then you’re gone. Are we through?

Think back to the day we met.

You were sitting all alone.

You were shy. You are still yet.

I gave you a freshly baked scone.

You smiled and said hello.

We started talking, getting acquainted.

I was not in a hurry to go.

I felt like I had been anointed.

Anointed in your pleasant nature.

You were so easy to talk to.

I knew there was nothing fake here.

Before long, I was so into you.

Time passed and we became a couple.

I was happy beyond belief.

I thought there might be nuptials.

Then, you were gone. Not sweet.

Oh, oh Susie darling.

I thought you knew?

You were all the world to me.

All my dreams come true.

Coming On Strong

      Coming On Strong

Coming on strong.

I have a feeling it may be wrong.

Yet, I’m so into you.

I love everything you do.

Coming on strong.

This would make a powerful song.

It is everything you do.

I want to make it all come true.

Coming on strong.

As I take another puff off the bong.

I am being carried away.

Will I feel the same on another day?

Coming on strong.

How much longer will this go on.

I like it a lot.

My feet are glued to this very spot.

Coming on strong.

I knew this couldn’t last for long.

Why did you say

you had better wait till another day?

Coming on strong.

It was perfectly fine with me.

When you stopped

I knew it was the end, you see.

Coming on strong.

You said you wanted it to go on.

Spread it out.

In the end I will not pout.

Coming on strong.

You wanted to go for long.

Like a lifetime.

Now, I know that you are mine.
