Demented Dancer Gets Help

Demented Dancer Gets Help

Dancing with dementia.
Pretend that it is not there.
Look at the fairies dancing.
They are dancing everywhere.
Dance at night in the moon light.
Be provocative in your moves.
Just be glad that it is night.
Dance until they accept you.
It should only be a little longer.
Let them know you are no fool.
You can see them dancing there.
There is a place that dancers go.
You will get there if you try.
You will be the star of the show.
You will be known far and wide.
Dancing with dementia is the way.
There is no other way it’s done.
You might even dance in the day.
Where do we go from here?
You have arrived. This is it.
There is only one more thing to do.
Some ECT should do the trick.

Halloween Ghost Story

Halloween Ghost Story

“I found something. Come and see.”
“What was it? You can tell me.”
“You have to see it, first of all.”
“Sounds fishy, but I’ll answer your call.”
I followed him down several streets.
Excited, but trying to look discreet.
“Where the hell are you leading me?”
“Just a little further and you will see.”
We came to a dirty, filthy, narrow alley.
“In here.” We went in. It seemed a folly.
“It stinks in here”, I said loudly.
“Shhesh”, he said. Almost a little pouty.
“Be quiet. It’s right up here.” He said.
Mysteries were running through my head.
We came to stairs leading down.
“What the hell?” I said with a frown.
“It doesn’t go under either building.”
“It leads straight down.” He said, beholding.
“What is down there?” I said with fear.
That’s what we’ll find out” he said in my ear.
“Are you nuts” I said with fright.
He said “I have 2 flash lights.”
He gave me one and started down.
I followed. I didn’t want to look like a clown.
We went down unbelievably far.
No doors, windows, or even bars.
Suddenly, it leveled out and widened.
I think I was on the verge of crying.
The room was big. We couldn’t see the walls.
Cobwebs and dust covered all.
We walked on, though I was shaking.
It was bad. I thought things were quaking.
Soon we saw subway type tracks.
Up ahead, we saw a little shack.
There was a sign hanging on the shack.
SUBWAY STATION 13 it read.
I couldn’t believe what it said.
“There is no station 13 on the subway?”
“They must have closed it years ago, some way.”
We looked around for awhile, then we left.
I went to the library next day to check.
I found out it was closed many years before.
Reason: It was a real story of horror.
Several people had been murdered down there.
Rumors of ghosts were heard everywhere.
People quit going to that station.
It was closed down. They said for sanitation.
I knew for sure I wasn’t going back there.
I would rather go almost anywhere.
Except there. Ghosts and I do not agree.
I would much rather feel safe and free.

Cupid Scores Big

Cupid Scores Big

What you did. I couldn’t believe it.
There was no way I could retrieve it.
You stole my heart and so much more.
Did you plan to make such a score?

We were just out to have a good time.
I never thought that you would be mine.
I am yours, I guess I should say.
I never planned on this today.

You reached down and touched my soul.
How it touched me, you’ll never know.
You wrapped my heart in ecstasy
Now I know I can never be free.

I hope I affected you in the same way.
Cupid hit us both. What can I say?
Now, where do we go from here?
I hope it lasts. That’s my big fear.

I have never felt this way before.
This is so much more than a score.
Cloud 9, move out of the way.
I am headed for the stars this day.

I have heard of heaven on earth.
Now I know just what it’s worth.
I am high just sitting here with you.
Your love excites me, through & through.

I am like a sponge. Soaking it all up.
I can’t get enough. Fill up my cup.
Let me drown in your loving eyes.
I won’t back down is no surprise.

Turn on your love light. Let it shine.
Shine on me so I will feel fine.
There is not a lot that I can do.
I have stumbled and fell for you.

What a way to go. What a show.
You’ve cast your spell? I don’t know.
Whatever happened, don’t let it end.
You are now way more than a friend.

Magic: Gone With A Vengence

Magic: Gone With A Vengence

I heard of a land of magic.
A different type I didn’t know.
They used colors for their magic.
If it was dark, magic didn’t flow.

During sunny days they did all.
They used magic in many ways.
At night things moved at a crawl.
Daytime, it was like running a maze.

Not everyone had the power.
Others could only use certain colors.
They would tire in a few hours.
Few used all colors better than others.

These few were called prisms.
They were the ruling class.
Also called full spectrum magicians.
They used magic to kick others ass.

Thinking all citizens needed a leader.
Such a prism was called a black prism.
Other prisms were his advisors.
Ruling by magic, they were the bleeders.

They would bled magic from others.
Those with little or no power had no chance.
They could only run to their mothers.
Unless they could find a thing called ‘The Lance.’

“The Lance’ could wipe out a prism’s magic.
They would be powerless. A common one.
‘The Lance’ was hidden years ago by black magic.
Black magic could only be used by some.

Very few was the number of them.
Most would destroy ‘The Lance’ if they found it.
Just a couple would use it. They were real men.
If used, magic would cease to exist. Every bit.

Those with no magic would be happy with that.
Everyone would be equal. No prism’s anymore.
No ‘magician’s’ treating others like a rat.
It would make those former magicians very sore.

One day Morvel found ‘The Lance’ using black magic.
He loved his magic, but he hated prism’s.
The Black Prism took away his brother’s magic.
His brother later committed suicide. A real schism.

He activated ‘The Lance’ at noon that day.
All magic magically disappeared.
He did it to get revenge for his brother, they say.
The prism’s went nuts. Loss of their life, they feared.

Many were killed or put in prison.
Things were different from that day on.
We would call it as normal as kissin.
From that day on all magic was gone.

Don’t Travel With A Stoner

Don’t Travel With A Stoner

It was time to take a trip.
But, first I had to get a fix.
Not loaded would be wrong.
I have to sing my song.

Loaded and ready to roll.
Hauling ass, though going slow.
Perception is a state of mind.
My mind is doing overtime.

Things fly by & I space out.
What is all the fuss about?
Kick back and enjoy the ride.
Don’t you trust me with your hide?

What is that I hear you yelling about?
Were still in the driveway? No doubt.
Sometimes my mind is racing like hell.
Yet, we are not moving very well.

Not to worry. It will pass.
All I need is to step on the gas.
There we go. Now were flying.
Were going like hell. I wasn’t lying.

What? Were still in the driveway?
I don’t understand it anyway.
I pushed the gas all the way down.
Wait, I need to turn around.

Oh no, I forgot to start the car.
Let’s just go to the nearest bar.
I need a drink to steady my nerves.
I feel like my eyesight has curves.

What? You’ve decided not to go?
But, you will miss the show!!
You don’t give a tinker’s damn!
You just want to get your feet on land.

What is your problem? Can’t hold a drink?
I can’t understand how you think.
I am loaded? Well, what the heck?
It’s the best way to travel, I’ll bet.

I won’t live to see tomorrow?
I am a vessel filled with sorrow?
What the heck are you talking about?
Have another drink. You’ll chill out.

I don’t know what’s bothering him?
We didn’t get out of the driveway then.
A couple drinks to calm the nerves.
Then I could negotiate those curves.

He must have never been high before.
Maybe a ‘bad’ trip before he left the door.
The boy can’t see the fun for the fright.
I hope he don’t end up in a fight.

The Dragon Rider’s First Quest

      The Dragon Rider’s First Quest

The Dragon Rider heard the news.

Some ‘baddies’ were abducting kids.

Selling them for money and booze.

They were sold to the highest bids.

His dragon knew when he did.

Their minds were melded as one.

He met the dragon where she hid.

There was a battle to be won.

He flew his dragon in the night.

They flew to where the ‘baddies’ were.

They knew what they did was right.

This would be brutal, they were sure.

They found the ‘baddies’ all tanked up.

Sitting around a small camp fire.

He had a tightness in his gut.

There would be no talking to the liars.

The dragon swooped down &  screeched.

They looked up & were sprayed with fire.

They had no time to gain their feet.

Instant crispy critters & burned up liars.

Booze & a camp fire should cover it.

But, one witness saw the whole thing.

Word spread that a man on a dragon did it.

Who could believe a man on the wing?

The legend  of The Dragon Rider had begun.

It spread like wild fire through the land.

This would not be the only battle he won.

He became known as The Dragon Man.

The Fog

      The Fog

A mysterious fog appeared in the evening.

The kind that makes you think of people grieving.

Funny noises were heard coming from the fog.

Screeches, scraping, gurgling, like from a bog.

A friend went outside to check it out .

He didn’t come back. He was nowhere about.

We were In a log cabin in the woods.

Lights front and back only lit up what it could.

We looked out all of the windows.

We only saw fog. It gave us chills.

Suddenly, all the lights went out.

We were scared, as we looked about.

We found a lantern and got it lit.

The dog was barking. Throwing a fit.

We heard some thumping on the door.

Then a loud crash , and we heard no more.

There were 3 of us still in the cabin.

We were all afraid of what would happen.

We lit a fire in the fireplace real quick.

We locked all windows & doors. Candles were lit.

Then the moaning outside began.

The girls said ”Check it out. Be the man.”

“I’m not going out there. I swear.”

“There is something totally wrong out there.”

“Why is there a fog in the middle of summer?”

“All that noise out there is a real bummer.”

“I think maybe we entered the Twilight Zone.”

“Oh, be real, will you. Where is your phone?”

“We don’t have a land phone. No cell service either.”

“My wife wanted to be secluded. Do you want to beat her?”

A scream came from behind the cabin.

It sounded like a bunch of man men.

We were all really getting shook up.

I was feeling a cramp in my gut.

“Don’t you even have a TV?”

“Yes, but the power is off, you see.”

“Let me out of here!!”, & one girl ran out.

She was gone before we could even shout.

It was quiet for a short spell.

Then, she screamed & started yelling ‘help!’

I grabbed my rifle and a few shells.

“If it comes in I’ll blow it to hell.”

“If what comes in” she said.

“Whatever wants to make us dead.”

Then there began a shaking.

Like an earthquake in the making.

It stopped and we looked outside.

No more fog. Nowhere to hide.

We went outside and found nothing.

Our friends were gone. We started cussing.

“What the hell just happened here?”

“I have no idea. Just give me a beer.”

We never found out another thing.

We were afraid what it all would bring.

We told the law the friends left for town.

They never came back. They were nowhere around.

The law made a missing persons search.

They never got a single alert.

The mystery has never been solved.

We wouldn’t mention the fog, we avowed.

The Harvest Moon

      The Harvest Moon

The moon has risen out of the ashes.

So bright to see, I need sun glasses.

It is a rare, very large, harvest moon.

It is enough to make my heart swoon.

With the moon’s raising, I think of you.

I am wondering what you are up to?

After ‘the end’ everything was on fire.

just ashes are all that covers the mire.

We are separated but, I know you live.

I can feel the life vibes that you give.

They are stronger now, I am closer.

There is nothing but just ghosts here.

So,  I  can easily focus on only you.

Let your vibes keep coming through.

I feel you are also coming to me.

Soon we will be together. You will see.

Your love is strong as it reaches out.

You are closer. That’s what it’s about.

Our love for each other is above all.

Calling out for each other. Like a law.

It rules our hearts & keeps us alive.

When we are together, our love will thrive.

May this harvest moon guide our steps.

Help us to make it through this mess.

All is gray everywhere until we meet.

Then, the world will burst with color sweet.

We will light up the way with love.

As sweet as the love from above.

Until then, my heart will swoon.

As I gaze upon this harvest moon.

Country Vision

      Country Vision

I’ve been looking high & looking low

in the heart of the country.

For a girl I used to know

in the heart of the country.

I finally found her & my heart did fly

in the heart of the country.

My emotions took off for the sky

in the heart of the country.

Lightening struck down in my soul.

in the heart of the country.

It created a beautiful light show

in the heart of the country.

She took me up into the light

in the heart of the country.

We flew till we were out of sight

in the heart of the country.

Time flew by & we were in the future

in the heart of the country.

Everything, except us, was new here

in the heart of the country.

I liked it all & wanted to see more

in the heart of the country.

She invited me in through her door

in the heart of the country.

Time passed by & it all came true

in the heart of the country.

There is only me and you

in the heart of the country.

Atom Ant

      Atom Ant

The soles were dropping from the skies.

But, Atom Ant knew he would survive.

He was small as an ant but, strong as an ox.

He was strong enough to lift a 500 pound box.

It was a secret experiment that changed him.

He could make himself big again.

He controlled his size as needed to be.

He worked for the government, you see.

He could get into almost anywhere.

During peace or war. He didn’t care.

His current assignment carried big risks.

He just prayed nothing would go amiss.

He entered the secret facility by a door.

He squeezed under it, nothing more.

There was a special message within.

He would find it, he thought with a grin.

He knew where is was supposed to be.

Hidden in a safe, opened by a frequency.

He had the ability to make the right pitch.

He got the safe open and was into it.

He photographed the secret document.

Then, without hesitation, out of there he went.

He was successful with his mission.

He had Coke’s original formula with him.

They will never know it had been copied.

One time Atom Ant had to hide in a crappie

It was fine till the fish took a dump

He had to swim like hell to save his rump.

Next mission. The 11 herbs and spices.

Kentucky Fried might have a crisis.

Atom Ant cannot be stopped.

He is small but, he knows a lot.

Using bug spray didn’t work.

He wore a gas mask. he was no jerk.

A good old fly swatter might do the trick.

But, you’ll have to be fast or he will split.

The government knows all now.

Thanks to Atom Ant. As he takes a bow.
