\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 There To Play A Different Game<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The young man came into the room.<\/p>\n He walked with a confident stride.<\/p>\n It seemed he didn\u2019t come too soon.<\/p>\n The girls stared with eyes open wide.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n He made his way to an empty seat.<\/p>\n He was watched the entire way.<\/p>\n He sat down & ordered a drink.<\/p>\n The waitress smiled & left with a sway.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The band started playing an oldie.<\/p>\n A number of people got up to dance.<\/p>\n One girl said \u201cI\u2019m going to see.\u201d<\/p>\n She walked by & looked at his hand.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n No ring was noticed on his left ring finger.<\/p>\n He is either single or removed the ring.<\/p>\n There was no lighter than a tan line that lingered.<\/p>\n That means he must be here for a fling.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The band played more songs.<\/p>\n He did not ask anyone to dance.<\/p>\n He sat there for far too long.<\/p>\n The girls were getting ants in their pants.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After an hour & a couple of drinks,<\/p>\n he got up and left the place.<\/p>\n The girls all said \u201cThat sure stinks.\u201d<\/p>\n They were wondering if he had what it takes.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For several nights the act was repeated.<\/p>\n Regulars were at a total loss for words.<\/p>\n Finally, one girl asked him what he needed?<\/p>\n He said he was just there to hear his brother play.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Seems his brother was in the band.<\/p>\n It was his first paid session.<\/p>\n He told his brother \u201cTake a stand.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll be there to support your lesson.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The girl just blushed and walked away.<\/p>\n She didn\u2019t know what to say or do.<\/p>\n Seems all good looking men who stay<\/p>\n are not there to make a score too.————R.
