So Wrong, Yet Felt So Right.<\/strong><\/p>\n Knowing that it is true<\/p>\n doesn\u2019t always make it right.<\/p>\n That night I was close to you.<\/p>\n I was holding you real tight.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It was a night I will never forget.<\/p>\n I keep flashing back to that time.<\/p>\n It was\u00a0too frightening —–I regret.<\/p>\n Yet, I knew, for awhile, you were mine.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It was storming and we were alone.<\/p>\n Trapped in a building with no escape.<\/p>\n A psychotic killer on the roam.<\/p>\n Letting him see us, was a mistake.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n You belonged to another then.<\/p>\n How we ended up here is a long story.<\/p>\n It all happened,—– so why pretend?<\/p>\n At least it didn\u2019t end up gory.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The killer was after us, without a doubt.<\/p>\n We witnessed what he did to that girl.<\/p>\n Then,—– you\u00a0began to shout.<\/p>\n He faced us, his fist began to curl.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We ran like we never had before.<\/p>\n He was hot on our trail wanting our blood.<\/p>\n We hid in this building after breaking in the door.<\/p>\n He kicked the door in further with a thud.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We were hiding behind a bunch of boxes.<\/p>\n You were clinging to me very tight.<\/p>\n He went by & we snuck out like foxes.<\/p>\n Being careful to stay out of the light.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We ran & ran till we dropped.<\/p>\n Much too tired to go on.<\/p>\n The comfort of each other, we sought.<\/p>\n It still sticks in my mind—– like a song.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We found a pay phone and called the police.<\/p>\n They came quickly and took us to the station.<\/p>\n We told our story before our release.<\/p>\n First, we looked at mug shots, to try and place him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Weeks later, the killer was caught.<\/p>\n We felt lucky to have gotten away that night.<\/p>\n Still,—– I have not forgot<\/p>\n what happened between us that felt so right.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It may be the truth, but it doesn\u2019t make it right.<\/p>\n You belong to another and so it will be.<\/p>\n Just two ships passing in the night.<\/p>\n Yet, it will always be a special moment for me.–R.
