I am trapped inside an \u2018American Dream\u2019.<\/p>\n

There is no end to this,— it seems.<\/p>\n

Lead the good life the \u2018American\u2019 way.<\/p>\n

A chicken in every pot. The freedom to pray.<\/p>\n

It has all gone up in smoke.<\/p>\n

Basically, a pipe dream. A real joke.<\/p>\n

You can wish & pray & work till you\u2019re blue.<\/p>\n

There is no \u2018free meal\u2019 coming to you.<\/p>\n

Only, if you are an illegal alien on welfare.<\/p>\n

Then, there may be something there.<\/p>\n

Provided to you by those who are working hard.<\/p>\n

Still hoping their \u2018American Dream\u2019 isn\u2019t marred.<\/p>\n

Now, their Social Security is no longer a right.<\/p>\n

It is a privilege, provided by a government of spite.<\/p>\n

The \u2018American Dream\u2019 is dead and gone.<\/p>\n

Where in the hell did we go wrong?<\/p>\n

Was it no longer being a country \u2018under God\u2019?<\/p>\n

Remember,—- He rules with an iron rod.<\/p>\n

Maybe it was the new attitude of \u201clet the rich pay for it.\u2019<\/p>\n

Wall Street marches to back their belief in this s\u2014t.<\/p>\n

If the world owes you a living, you must be a grasshopper.<\/p>\n

The ant is the one who works hard , ain\u2019t that a stopper.<\/p>\n

If enough people miss the \u2018American Dream\u2019.<\/p>\n

Maybe they will raise up as one and let off steam.<\/p>\n

Let it be known they don\u2019t like the way things are.<\/p>\n

They should be taking the country back. Raising the bar.<\/p>\n

Start proving that the \u2018moral majority\u2019 is NOT neither.<\/p>\n

It is what most citizens will fight for without a breather.<\/p>\n

Show that Democratic Yankee know how is not imperialism.<\/p>\n

It is the way things should be, though it seems few will listen.<\/p>\n

BRING BACK THE \u2018AMERICAN DREAM\u2019!!, is the marching song.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, this country will be great again, before too long.<\/p>\n
