What does it mean when the sky turns brown?<\/p>\n

When people\u2019s smiles turn into a frown?<\/p>\n

When birds stop singing and fly away?<\/p>\n

When you get more angry with everything I say?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What does it mean when sweets are bitter?<\/p>\n

When a winner soon becomes a quitter.?<\/p>\n

When hot air balloon rides are no longer fun?<\/p>\n

When we are back to where we have begun?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Why am I wrong to insist that I am right?<\/p>\n

To scream & holler when all are uptight?<\/p>\n

To act like an ass while in a museum?<\/p>\n

To make everyone there feel like leaving?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Have I stepped over some unseen bounds?<\/p>\n

Maybe, played the part of an insane clown?<\/p>\n

Maybe came completely unglued?<\/p>\n

Maybe, acted like a spoiled prude?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It seems I have done all this and more.<\/p>\n

Now, I am no longer welcome at your door.<\/p>\n

I have embarrassed you in front of your friends.<\/p>\n

There is no quicker way to bring on an end.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What can I say and what can I do?<\/p>\n

I am still madly in love with you.<\/p>\n

I need a attitude adjustment and more.<\/p>\n

Till I can no longer pick myself up off the floor.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Yet, it is a fact of life. Love brings heartache and strife.<\/p>\n

Much of it brought on by my own actions in life.<\/p>\n

I admit, I need to step back and take a look at myself.<\/p>\n

Try to understand how other people have felt.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I love you with an undying love from the heart.<\/p>\n

But, I sabotage it and rip it apart.<\/p>\n

I am a winner who can never really win.<\/p>\n

I will screw myself over before the end.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is wise to learn from your mistakes.<\/p>\n

I just hope and pray I am not too late.<\/p>\n

It won\u2019t be easy, but I will look in the mirror.<\/p>\n

Then say \u201cYou will change, or die alone, I fear.\u201d<\/p>\n
