I\u2019m on the road to never, never land.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have to find out who I really am.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve searched the whole world over.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet, I never found my 4 leaf clover.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My sweet honey suckle companion.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The one who I will meet at land\u2019s end.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Once she is found, I will settle down.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

With no one but her around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Until then, I travel on day to day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Stumbling along. Trying to find my way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The ins & outs of relationships<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

can be a rocky road leading only to friendships.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I must dive deeper into the human gene pool.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Scuba diving for a pearl in the blue.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

One more precious than life itself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I will never just set it on the shelf.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She will be the world to me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Can anyone be her, I plea?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is so much to learn and do.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet, I must continue on, to get to you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is never an easy way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I learn that lesson every day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Stubborn persistence finally paid off.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I found her one day, up in the loft. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A farm girl, with the charms of forever.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Left me standing out in the wet weather.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

After the shock wore off, I explained.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She smiled and made it very plain.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She did things the old fashioned way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A fellow would have to court her every day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This I did with great exuberance.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I hoped that this would move her hence.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It worked like a charm. Now, we are one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, the fun has really begun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
