\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mirror, Mirror On The Wall<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I walked by the mirror & glanced at it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I snapped around and looked again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I just stood there looking for a bit.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I turned around, not believing it then.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I looked the same as ever.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n But, the background had changed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t my bedroom. Very clever.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It seems castle walls had been arranged.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I knew it had to be somehow a joke.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I went to the bathroom mirror.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I looked at it and what a jolt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It was the same, that was clear.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I went running out of the place.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Picked up my girl and brought her back.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I told her about it to her face.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI was warned you were crazy, but that?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cYour family was cursed, so were you.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll check out the mirrors for the fact.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She looked in both mirrors & it was true.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She was shocked, but suspected a trick.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We checked behind the mirrors.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Nothing there. We just didn\u2019t get it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She was so shaken she was almost in tears.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then, I put my hand on one of them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n My hand went right into the mirror.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I pulled it out quickly, like it was sin.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I said, \u201c It felt cold and queer.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We realized we could go right in .<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We feared to do so. Could we get out?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n What if it trapped us within?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Would it do us any good to shout?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We covered the mirrors & disposed of them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We dumped them at the city dump.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They were never mentioned again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n There was one mirror left in a trunk.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Out of sight, out of mind, ——until????<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n —————————————–R.
