\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Contemplating Love<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Walking by the sea alone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Kicking up sand & little stones.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Contemplating my own love life.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Mostly, it is heartache & strife.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I find a large spiral shell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I listen to it & hear the swell.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It sounds just like the sea.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then, I think of your love for me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They say nothing lasts forever.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Yet, it could be a whole lot better.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I wonder where it went astray?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n My mind wanders to another day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Another place, another time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A time where you are always mine.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A place where all that we do<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n is done to show our love is true.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Such a place is called paradise.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A place where everything is nice.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It seems it only exists in the mind.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n There, it is safe, all of the time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If possible, I would go there with you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then all my dreams would come true.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Our love would become as one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We would have an eternity of fun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Anything we did or anywhere we went<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n would bring more joy than peppermint.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Our lives would go down in history.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The \u201cBook Of Love\u201d would be you & me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Day dreams; a great form of escape.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A way out of reality\u2019s fate.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n But, then, it all comes to an end.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The sun goes down & the wind comes up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The beach is nothing but a deserted cup.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Something to hold my tears of sorrow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I sit here & cry, thinking of tomorrow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I drive home, trying to think of a way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A way to bring you to paradise for the day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Let that day stretch into years.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n No more sorrow, no more tears.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Just you and me, making history.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It will happen dear, if you\u2019ll just stick with me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ———————————————R.
