A big dark cloud is coming down.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t see what is around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I feel this may be the end of me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally,—– I will be free.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been running most of my adult life.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just because I had a few gun fights.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I feel my time is just about up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Soon, I may take a bullet in the gut.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I won\u2019t let them take me alive.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My bullets will fly like bees from a hive.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sooner or later they will gun me down.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no way out that I have found.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have only killed in self defense.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In a gun fight you can\u2019t be on the fence.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They drew on me so I gunned them down.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There was not always someone else around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I gained the reputation of a killer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

None of which ever did occur.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am guilty before I am tried.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I would never make it to jail alive.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Justice for me is when they kill me dead.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They just want to put a bullet in my head.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If given a choice I would never shoot again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I would hang up my guns and never sin.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, my choice has been taken away.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I will either die today or live another day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sooner or later, I know what it will be.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Deader than a doornail, but I will be free.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mothers, tell your sons.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t do what I have done.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The end doesn\u2019t justify the means.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Being the best is not what it seems.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
