I became An Angel<\/strong><\/p>\n I was driving home late at night.<\/p>\n It was dark. The road was wet & slick.<\/p>\n At an intersection,\u00a0 bright lights to my right.<\/p>\n Coming fast. They hit me like a brick.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The next thing I remember clearly.<\/p>\n I am in heaven and God is nearby.<\/p>\n There is also several angels near me.<\/p>\n God is saying. Now he can really fly.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I said \u201c what is happening to me?\u201d<\/p>\n God said \u201cYou have become an angel.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI have a special job for you, you see.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou will become a guardian angel \u201c<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cYou will guard your girlfriend\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI have another job for her angel.\u201d<\/p>\n I said \u201cHow could I guard my girlfriend?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou love her\u201d God said. \u201cThat\u2019s my angle.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cSince you love her you will protect her\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDo not fear for God is always near.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAll knowledge needed, I will confer<\/p>\n to you . There is no need to fear.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At lightning speed I flew to you.<\/p>\n You could not see me by your side.<\/p>\n You were mourning. Your love was true.<\/p>\n It was so sad I almost cried.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n As time passed, you became different.<\/p>\n You started using drugs & drinking.<\/p>\n Friends noticed the difference.<\/p>\n What was it you were thinking.?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Then, you said you missed me so.<\/p>\n It hurt you to your very core.<\/p>\n You just couldn\u2019t let me go.<\/p>\n You couldn\u2019t take it anymore.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Later, I stopped an O.D. attempt.<\/p>\n I had a friend come over in time.<\/p>\n You tried not to show contempt.<\/p>\n He said he knew that you were mine.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n But, He didn\u2019t want you to hurt yourself.<\/p>\n So he came over just to check on you.<\/p>\n You were so ashamed. \u00a0\u00a0He helped<\/p>\n you to start feeling more like you.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n He doesn\u2019t know why he came .<\/p>\n He just had an urgency to come.<\/p>\n You told him not to feel blame.<\/p>\n \u201cMy guardian angel was the one.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cIt had to be him that brought you here.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJust in time to save my life.\u201d<\/p>\n All he could say was he felt someone near.<\/p>\n He is glad to see you were alright.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After that, he would drop in often.<\/p>\n A friendship grew to become love.<\/p>\n Later,\u00a0 he said he was moving to Boston.<\/p>\n Would you come to & be his love?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n He asked you to marry him & you said yes.<\/p>\n You started making plans.<\/p>\n I said \u201cWell, this is some mess.\u201d<\/p>\n But, I went along. I was an angel, not a man.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Then, all of a sudden, I awoke.<\/p>\n I was in my bed, the sheets a mess.<\/p>\n I got up and grabbed my coat.<\/p>\n I rushed to your house in a minute , or less.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I told you I had had a dream.<\/p>\n I told you all that had happened.<\/p>\n I said it was a sign.—- I mean,<\/p>\n it is not something that will happen.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I meant I wanted to marry you.<\/p>\n I knew for sure you were the one.<\/p>\n I was glad the dream did ensue.<\/p>\n God wants us to have a son.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n You agreed to marry me.<\/p>\n To be my bride. No questions why..<\/p>\n You wanted people just to see<\/p>\n It\u2019s really true..God doesn\u2019t lie.—————R. W.
