\u201cWhat was that?\u201d I said in shock.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI heard a bang that shook the cot.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

After 6 bodies were found in just 5 days.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I had been scared in many ways.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In this quiet, agricultural town.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Usually, there is not much going down.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There hasn\u2019t been a murder in some time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, there seems to be all kinds.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

One was killed in a shootout with police.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A winery owner killed his investor with a shot.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, with police chasing, about to be caught.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He committed suicide on a whim.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Saved us the money of a trial for him.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Two older folks were found.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dead in their apartment. Neither was bound.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The woman died about 3 weeks ago.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She was sitting up, fully clothed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The man had been dead about a week.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Naked, lying on the floor near her seat.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, a man about 56 years old.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Was found naked, dead, and cold.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was found kneeling in a freezer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Weird way to go, even for a geezer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He had been in there for some time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have no idea what was on his mind.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

These things all happening in a week.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Is kind of scary, the rest of us think.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s another indication of \u2018the end of time.\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018It will wrap up soon\u2019, is on my mind.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

God\u2019s presence is slowly being withdrawn.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Satan is running rampant among the fallen.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cREPENT!!, REPENT!!\u201d time is very short.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

When the angels make their report.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Make sure your record is washed clean.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

By the blood of the lamb, I mean.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, no matter what happens next.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You are saved for eternal life, I\u2019ll bet.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There won\u2019t be death or killings then.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A perfect world, like ours should have been.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

And a perfect universe without an end.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
