People said it was just a summer romance.<\/p>\n

Now, in our winter years, there is no chance.<\/p>\n

They were wrong about me and you.<\/p>\n

A million to one. We made it through.<\/p>\n

Only problem is:<\/p>\n

None of them still lives.<\/p>\n

Yes, we are still together.<\/p>\n

Still in love and will be forever.<\/p>\n

You complete me in every way.<\/p>\n

Just as I complete your day.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re there in the mornings when I awake.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re there in the evenings with what it takes.<\/p>\n

What it takes to make me whole.<\/p>\n

You enrich \u00a0my very soul.<\/p>\n

Without you I can\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n

Without me, others are like a mist.<\/p>\n

Not substantial enough for you.<\/p>\n

I need you, you need me too.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t all rainbows and lollypops.<\/p>\n

Hopping & bopping at the high school hops.<\/p>\n

Real life with one another wasn\u2019t easy.<\/p>\n

Our ups and downs were never sleazy.<\/p>\n

They, none the less, were .bumps in the road.<\/p>\n

On our walk to winter with each other to hold.<\/p>\n

We are strong when we have each other.<\/p>\n

We have been a wife a husband a father & a mother.<\/p>\n

Yet, we overcame. We are unstoppable together.<\/p>\n

We made it through, despite the weather.<\/p>\n

Our love has grown during this trying time.<\/p>\n

It is stronger now that you are still mine.<\/p>\n

As we face a future beyond the winter of our lives.<\/p>\n

We will overcome, because, together we are wise.<\/p>\n

Together we will see it through.<\/p>\n
