I am feeling pretty lousy still.<\/p>\n

I am thinking that I always will.<\/p>\n

You were the greatest love I\u2019ve ever had.<\/p>\n

Now you\u2019re gone & I am more than sad.<\/p>\n

I had it made but, I let it slip away.<\/p>\n

I was only thinking of the next day.<\/p>\n

Thinking of myself & not of you.<\/p>\n

I should have known you have feelings too.<\/p>\n

Crawling on my belly like a worm.<\/p>\n

Though I hurt, it\u2019s not your concern.<\/p>\n

Can\u2019t make up for what\u2019s already done.<\/p>\n

I am dead now. There is no fun.<\/p>\n

Everything that should cheer me<\/p>\n

makes me want to die.<\/p>\n

I should have spent more time with you.<\/p>\n

Now, \u00a0it\u2019s so obvious what I didn\u2019t do.<\/p>\n

I put my needs way ahead of yours.<\/p>\n

My life should have taken a different course.<\/p>\n

What you want is important too.<\/p>\n

I would have done the same if I were you.<\/p>\n

Hind sight is always better than fore sight they say.<\/p>\n

I was too blind to see it any other way.<\/p>\n

There is no end that I can see.<\/p>\n

Has there ever been a man who suffered like this?<\/p>\n

Or, am I the first that still exists?<\/p>\n

I only wish you could read my repentant heart.<\/p>\n

Then you would know trying again is worth a start.<\/p>\n
