He was a kindly, little, old, nature loving man.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was out in the woods looking for mushrooms. .<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was down on his knees checking out the land.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wolves caught his sent and found him real soon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They surrounded him before he was aware.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The pack leader slowly approached the man.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He saw the wolf and could only stare.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The pack leader sniffed, then backed away, turned & ran.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He gave a howl and the other wolves followed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The man couldn\u2019t believe what just happened.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank God, the wolves didn\u2019t want his raw bones.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He gathered the mushrooms in his lap then.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, he walked back to where his car remained.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

About 2 months later he was back in the woods.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He heard a wolf crying, like\u00a0it was in pain.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He found a pup, who would run away, if he could.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He couldn\u2019t. His leg was in a trap & was broken.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The man freed the\u00a0pup and carried him away.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In his car he had a brace. It was a real token.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just the right size to fix the\u00a0whelp’s leg today.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He fixed up the\u00a0pup\u00a0& returned him to the place.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He thought the\u00a0pup could get home from there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He made sure the trap wasn\u2019t set, just in case.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t realize the wolves were all aware.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They watched everything he had done.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They saw that he had helped the little whelp.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They remembered that he was the one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The one the pack leader decided to help.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A week later, he was back in the woods.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The wolves surrounded him like before.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He raised his hands up, knowing he should.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The pack leader \u00a0approached\u00a0once more.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He sniffed, then licked the man\u2019s hand.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then gave a small growl like a meow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, he turned and left the man.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He gave a small yip, then a growl.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All the wolves followed the leader.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He was left scratching his head.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It seemed he had nothing to fear.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It seemed to him that God had led.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It was the pack leader\u2019s\u00a0pup he helped.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The pack leader sensed this from the first.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He knew this man was not a whelp.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sure enough, his senses were not a curse.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

God gives all animals what they use.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

God knew the man would help the pup.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

His wisdom gave the wolf all the cues.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This was a man to save, not rip up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
