\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In The Time Of Magic<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I am a time traveler. I travel forward or back.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Anyone can do it, if you have the knack.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You don\u2019t need a special machine to go.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Just a good imagination for the show.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I went back to the mid-evil ages.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Knights, castles, & really poor wages.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n But, there was one thing not here today.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It was magic. Powerful magic, I would say.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n There was white magic & black magic too.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n There were wizards and witches mixing brew.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Some were evil and some were good.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Some would kill you where you stood.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It was scary to hear all the magical talk.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If you talk the talk, you must walk the walk.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If you tried to get a wizard for hire,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n he might burn you with wizard\u2019s fire.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They worked for themselves, not for others.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They would probably fry their own mothers.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Those that used white magic were usually witches.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n But, they could be a warlock & burn your britches.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n What I am trying to say.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Magic is not for play.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Those who used it knew their stuff.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They didn\u2019t share this with others much.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If one takes you under his wing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You would be an acolyte, or some such thing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You start at the bottom & work your way up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Till you knew enough to drink from the cup.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The wizard would train you to his way of thinking.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You would reflect his actions right down to winking.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If you learned enough, you might go on your own.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You would then use all that you had been shown.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n They all guard their craft with all their might.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n No use ever getting up tight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If a witch or wizard does things in his own way,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n it\u2019s not much different than some people today.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I learned what little I could.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then, returned home, like I knew I would.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I found right off. Magic doesn\u2019t work today.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I am sure there has got to be a better way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n But, I still have my imagination.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n What a way to take a vacation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Just imagine whatever you want.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n And, wham!
