I could feel something happening near me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Strange gods drinking from the Well Of Shadows.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I drew Tryfling, (my sword), bringing power to see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I summoned the \u2018rapture of vision\u2019 with a rattle.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All around the Well of Shadows they were.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The strange gods in various manifestations<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bound with dark webs of talic force inferred. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They wanted the impulse clouds, it was indicated.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Impulse clouds in the Well Of Shadows drew them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They thrived & grew strong from the clouds.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Their ability to manipulate time, space, & dimensions<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

increased when they could feed, if allowed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I could not let this happen at any cost.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Only I had the ability to stop them.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We had fought before & I had lost.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, I learned enough to now, maybe, win.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Strange gods like Death, Wisdom, Cruelty, Mercy,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Loyalty, Stupidity, Justice, Chaos, and War.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Others, who were unknown to me, I could see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They all needed to be stopped to even the score.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I cut into the webs of talic with Tryfling.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I severed all the webs, leaving them unbound.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I felt nothing. Not even like crying.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The strange gods were alone, looking all around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The strange gods were unbound now.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They took on their most terrifying aspects.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I sliced the head off the most powerful cow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Death\u2019s manifestation fell to the ground in ashes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dismayed, the rest \u00a0fled to different time\/space loci.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The sky brightened. Peace came over the land.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I hope to never face them again.——Oh my!!.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Life goes on but, I fear, again they may need my hand.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
