\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Better Insight Made It Right<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The other day I was feeling a little down.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I did a self examination with a frown.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I found traces of romance on my heart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The emotional scars that tore us apart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Doors in the brain marked DO NOT ENTER.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Memories of me asking my mentor.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n He said life is a series of experiences.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n That bring emotions & inferior fences.<\/p>\n Some are heartwarming and precious.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Others are so bad, they depress us.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Become aware of all your feelings.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n What led up to her leaving?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Could that result be changed<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n if caught early enough to refrain?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Dig deeper yet & you may find<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n many things that affect your mind.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Doors marked DO NOT ENTER<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n should be avoided said my mentor.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n So, deeper still I went into my mind.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It\u00a0was \u00a0frightening some of the time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A lot of ups and downs I found.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It is amazing I am still around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I did note I was fairly good<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n at learning from it all, when I should.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n When I finally finished, I felt a lot better.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Then, the mail came & there was your letter.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It was not a Dear John note, thank God.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It was a makeup letter, not a fraud.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I was ready to start over again.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I called you immediately, with a grin.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We made our apologies & started over.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I have much more insight, this time over.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She had done some soul searching too.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The result is a much improved me & you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n —————————————R.
