\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Big \u201cS\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Since I was a kid my Pop would say.<\/p>\n \u201cSon,— do it the \u2018American way\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n I worked hard while going to school.<\/p>\n What else could an American do?<\/p>\n I saved my nickels and my dimes.<\/p>\n Always made it to school on time.<\/p>\n Off to college to learn a trade.<\/p>\n I had no time for getting laid.<\/p>\n Worked my fingers down to the bone.<\/p>\n With school & work, I was rarely home.<\/p>\n Finally, all my schooling was done.<\/p>\n No, I didn\u2019t have time for a little fun.<\/p>\n Got a career job and worked like hell.<\/p>\n It was myself I had to sell.<\/p>\n Worked two jobs, sometimes three.<\/p>\n Invested the money, as you can see.<\/p>\n Kept my nose to the grindstone.<\/p>\n Worked lots of overtime. Never home.<\/p>\n Started buying houses & renting them out.<\/p>\n I needed more money. No time to pout.<\/p>\n After years of busting my balls.<\/p>\n I had reached my goal. Retirement calls.<\/p>\n I lived my life the \u2018American way\u2019.<\/p>\n I made a mint for the retirement day.<\/p>\n Then the government took it all.<\/p>\n The big \u201cS\u201d was Obama\u2019s call.<\/p>\n Socialism is what it is called.<\/p>\n Kiss off the retirement. When you\u2019re too old,<\/p>\n no longer productive, I\u2019ve been told.<\/p>\n Then Socialism casts you aside.<\/p>\n There is no where you can hide.<\/p>\n Home will be a cardboard box.<\/p>\n Eating discarded food before it rots.<\/p>\n But, that\u2019s o.k.
