It seems I acted like all the rest.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m sorry girl, I failed your test.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, in my defense, you see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t know you cared for me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I was just one of the boys.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

More concerned with getting toys.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I never gave us much thought.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, I am suffering what I have wrought.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now that I step back & take a look.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I can read you like a book.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All the times you tried your best.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

To get my attention away from the rest.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I was just too blind to see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That you had such feelings for me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now that I see what\u2019s going on.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am sorry for taking so long.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
