I\u2019m just a wayfaring stranger in this land.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m traveling along to see what I can.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I love all the beautiful sights to see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All the people so happy and free.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is lots of interesting things to do.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a lot of different foods\u00a0 to chew.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There are different languages to hear.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There are lots of new flavors of beer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Riding a bike through all the cities.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I get a feeling that makes me giddy.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Riding through the country side.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I smell all the flowers as I ride.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

People are friendly and very helpful.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Inviting me to dinner, my heart melts so.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They even say I can spend the night.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Their generosity is out of sight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I never experienced this in my own country.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Though, people overall, were less funky.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They were more friendly than I expected.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Seldom was I totally neglected.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, they didn\u2019t open their homes to me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There was a certain amount of distrust, you see.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, things are different here in the land of the free.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Things are not the way they used to be.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That is another story in itself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t want to hit below the belt.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Everywhere else on my trip abroad.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

People were very friendly. Is that odd?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t go to places where Americans were unwelcome.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am sure it would be different. Friendliness being seldom.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Overall tough, my faith is in the common person.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I hope that relationship never worsens.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is still love and kindness in people\u2019s hearts.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just like there was from the very start.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

May mankind come together as one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Make this a better world for everyone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
