\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Country Lass & The City Slicker<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I was driving around, wasting gas.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Till I found a little country lass.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She was walking along a country road.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Looked like she was toting a heavy load.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I pulled over and offered her a ride.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She had a flat tire by her side.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She hadn\u2019t had a spare at the time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She wanted to know if she could borrow mine. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I said sure, if it will fit on your car.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She said it was back there, not too far.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I took her & the flat back to her car. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n My spare fit. We went to get air. Not too far.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n The station patched her tire for her.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I took her back to where we were.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I put her tire back on her car.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She said to follow her home. It\u2019s not far.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I did and she tried to pay me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I said no way. I did it all for free.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She said how about dinner then?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I said sure. That will make it a win, win.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n One thing led to another. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It seemed like in no time we were lovers.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Time passed like it always does.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We were like two turtle doves.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Whatever I did she was there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n She was with me everywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I knew for sure she was the one.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n We married and it all was fun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A country girl with a city slicker.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n A lot of people would just snicker.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n But, love is where you find it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n So, don\u2019t give us any lip.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Our love is strong and it goes on.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n I will love her till the day I\u2019m gone.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n —————————————-R.
