I\u2019ve been sitting in my room.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I know noon is coming soon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Could it be the end of free?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe it\u2019s the end of me?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

One time—– long ago,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I had nowhere to go.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You came by & set me free.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You said be all that I can be.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been on my own since then.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I never had a real close friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I just wandered here and there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been almost everywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have seen & done it all.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing saved me from the fall.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I know it is coming soon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Because it is almost noon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe I am all mixed up.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Or, maybe I am in a rut.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe it is midnight, not noon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Both of them are coming soon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is nowhere I can run.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

No more days of partying & fun.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If I run to the sea, it will be boiling.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If I ask for shelter it brings recoiling.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

So, I sit here in my room. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Looking around at all the gloom.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Is there no way to escape my fate?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I should have repented. Now it\u2019s too late.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The line has been drawn in the sand.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I should have crossed it & been the man.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Confessed my sins and surrendered my soul.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am so sorry God. Only you could know.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Suddenly, a bright light all around.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I sit staring. Not making a sound.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A voice says. \u201cMy son, I have waited so long.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDo not fear. Just come along.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tears flood my eyes. It is not too late.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have finally found my fate.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Why, oh why did I wait so long.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All this love cannot be wrong.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Praise the Lord for His long patience.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

For His agape love. His elation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He loved me before I was here.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, I will love Him without any fear.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
