I can\u2019t take things the way they are.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I can feel every cut and scar.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Be it literal, or on the heart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The end result is tearing us apart.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I remember much smoother days.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Making love was the popular craze.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Flower children pushed \u2018flower power.\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

How did we get to this crazy hour?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We need to start all over. Start all over.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Go back to kissing and smelling the clover.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Go back to loving and caring for others.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our greatest work was under the covers.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We preached love and all it involved.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We were happy to be part of the crowd.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, trust no one, is a no brainer.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Who does the government have on retainer?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

No one depends on one another,<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

only on the government. That\u2019s a blunder.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are becoming a nation of sheep.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

We are organic robitoids in the keep.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The government tells us what to do.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I wouldn\u2019t do that if I were you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
