Little to see or even hope for.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know what to do anymore.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

All is a gate that swings one way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe a pill that will work that way?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Make you feel better if taken the next day?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just stagger on your miserable way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t ever plan on coming back to stay.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Get on down to Lonely Street.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Heartbreak Hotel has the room you seek.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Your life is at an all time low.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is nowhere else to go.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Just learn to roll with the blow.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Change your name to Joe Schmo<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Then, a girl catches your eye.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Should you give it one more try?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She smiles as she looks your way.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Put those blues off till another day.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This might be the one that works.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now wouldn\u2019t that be a funny quirk?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve been trodden down like a rug.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now it may be your turn to be smug.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Things can\u2019t get worse than they are.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Offer her a ride in your car.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She looks like she could use a lift.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You can ask. She won\u2019t get miffed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
