You want revenge for a nasty act.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Though you don\u2019t know who was at bat.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It was not me. The rumor mill lies.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Before I would do such a thing, I would die.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You want to crucify me on your anger.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

For your revenge there is no languor.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t blame you for being upset.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, there is only one thing I regret.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You jumping to conclusions that are not true.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I was not the one who has did this to you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have no idea who it could have been?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Whoever did this was not a friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I would tell you who, if I only knew.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I can see what this is coming to.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am being hung out to dry.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A scapegoat, hanging from a pole in the sky.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You will feel foolish when you see you\u2019re wrong.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

By then it will be too late. You came on too strong.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

What we had will be totally destroyed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do not let this happen, I employ.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You\u2019re not listening. You\u2019re insane as a goose.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You\u2019re mind is made up. You\u2019re irrational side is loose.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no way to bring you back in.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Except to tell you I was with your best friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

She can give testimony to this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I know that is like a punch with a fist.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Caught between a rock and a hard place.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no other way to state my case.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am damned if I tell the truth. Damned if I don\u2019t.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet, I am innocent of it. To admit it, I won\u2019t.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Either way I am screwed, blued, and tattooed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yet, I won\u2019t confess to being so rude.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Being with your best friend isn\u2019t what you think.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I got advice for a gift for you. I said with a wink.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You\u2019re birthday is coming up real soon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I wanted to surprise you with more than balloons.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, since you think it\u2019s me, I feel like a goon.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Take time to think this through. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
