I am drifting free \u00a0in the wind.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing to anchor me from within.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You are chasing me where I go.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

What you want, I just don\u2019t know?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Perhaps you want to throw me a lifeline?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You will just have to bide your time.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Where I drift to, I do not know.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am not putting on a show.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am as free as the birds can be.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

No permanent ties to anchor me.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I float around here and there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Taking the best from everywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Never touched by feelings of remorse.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I try to stay on a steady course.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My shields are up as I float along.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Not being hurt will keep me strong.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am free as a form of defense.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe this doesn\u2019t make sense.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, to be hurt is what I avoid.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I would rather stay in a void.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My emotions are tender and raw.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t take a chance I might fall.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is not enough trust out there.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I could be hurt almost anywhere.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Obviously, I have been hurt before.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I totally trusted & was hurt to the core.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is my new way to cope with it.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Avoidance makes it worth the trip.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I never commit a foolish act.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I stay free and flow with the wind.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t commit, there is no sin.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
