He saw the man sitting on the park bench.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He looked so lonely it made his teeth clench.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He wished he could wipe out all loneliness.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If he could he wouldn\u2019t stop at only this.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, how could such a thing ever be done?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A general solution may not work for some.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Probably what each one needed was a friend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He couldn\u2019t be friend to all. Why pretend.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe each lonely person needed God.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That solution would not be too odd.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But, not everyone wants a religious life.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Though it would help them get things right.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally, \u00a0he reached a final conclusion.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no universal fix. It\u2019s a delusion.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Now he was becoming depressed himself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

He wished he had magic,—- like an elf.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wait a minute!! He just had an idea.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

One didn\u2019t come often. Not like diarrhea.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If lonely, you could read poetry & books.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

It would be great if that\u2019s all it took.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Creating their own world, they wouldn\u2019t be lonely.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

They could read and write. Create a pony.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Create an imaginary world that had friends.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe that could work. It all depends.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Would it be enough to delete the lonely feeling?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Or would it turn them into a different being?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Someone lost in the world of imagination.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Getting back may take some creation.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I had better lay this one to rest.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I think that would be for the best.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no universal cure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

If there are people, the lonely will be here.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
