Have you ever wondered how it would be
\nIf others could read your mind & see what you see?
\nYou may think that would be fun.
\nBut, soon, you would be on the run.
\nPrivacy would be nonexistent at best.
\nYou would bare it all , putting all doubt to rest.
\nMany thoughts you don\u2019t want others to know.
\nTheir reaction could be a real show.
\nForget guilt and shame.
\nSwallow them with the rest of your pain.
\nYou would want to read others thoughts too.
\nEven the ground. Know what they think of you.
\nI have a hunch things could get nasty.
\nAt least you would never be a patsy.
\nWhat about the thoughts of those who are mentally ill?
\nCould you handle that with any type of skill?
\nNo. It would be a very unpleasant thing.
\nI don\u2019t want to hear others thoughts ring.
\nThink of God, who can hear all of our thoughts.
\nBare to Him our souls, & that\u2019s a lot.
\nHis love for us knows no bounds.
\nHearing our thoughts & He stays around.
\nThat is beyond my comprehension.
\nI am glad it\u2019s not me, but it is Him.<\/p>\n
