Are you going to see the show?
\nIt is quite provocative, you know.
\nYet, it will steal your heart away.
\nYou\u2019ll talk about it for many a day.<\/p>\n
This show has been all over.
\nBig crowds have left much fuller.
\nIt is a must for all to see.
\nI want you to go with me.<\/p>\n
We could make it a double date.
\nIt is not an excuse to wait.
\nI have ordered our tickets early.
\nYou don\u2019t mind that,—- surely.<\/p>\n
Yes, I bought 2 extras, just in case.
\nI don\u2019t want to have egg on my face.
\nThey can pay me back, if they want.
\nI won\u2019t harass them or say a taunt.<\/p>\n
I know you fear going alone with me.
\nI planned for all of this, you see.
\nThe rumors spread about me are sad.
\nYou will find I am not that bad.<\/p>\n
Someone started those rumors for revenge.
\nI wouldn\u2019t do what she did intend.
\nShe said she would make me suffer.
\nShe said I wouldn\u2019t date till I was a duffer<\/p>\n
I have suffered much from her rumor mill.
\nI am broke. She has emptied out my till.
\nTake all you have heard with a grain of salt.
\nI am sweeter than a chocolate malt.<\/p>\n
But, the only truth is to demonstrate.
\nI will prove I am an appropriate date.
\nYou may find I am worth more than one.
\nYou may even find I am loads of fun.<\/p>\n
