Addict Makes A Recovery<\/p>\n
Once I was a druggie, down and out.
\nI loved to get high, without a doubt.
\nBe it pills, booze, crack, or grass.
\nI would go at it till I fell on my ass.<\/p>\n
Then one day, when I was really low,
\nI sat wondering; \u2018where does this go?\u2019
\nIf I kept on like this I would be gone.
\nI had a feeling it wouldn\u2019t take long.<\/p>\n
I decided to change my ways.
\nI looked old, flabby, & pretty frayed.
\nI got online & read a lot.
\nMuch of it was just a crock.<\/p>\n
You are what you eat.
\nEat veggies, fruit, nuts, & meat.
\nDo everything in moderation.
\nEven exercise, to my elation.<\/p>\n
Keep away from everything I did before.
\nNow that really opened up a new door.
\nDo prayer & meditation.
\nBefore bed or when you awaken.<\/p>\n
Drink pure water. Much more than usual.
\nYet, don\u2019t overdo it. It\u2019s a good move though.
\nI had my list of what to do.
\nI would need some help from you.<\/p>\n
It was real rough starting out.
\nTill I learned what it was about.
\nTill I flushed & detoxed my system,
\nI didn\u2019t know what I was missing.<\/p>\n
I ate organic fruits & veggies.
\nNo more processed food. Not even spaghetti.
\nAfter a couple months I had it down.
\nPeople were amazed when they came around.<\/p>\n
I lost weight & looked super healthy.
\nMy body looked like I was wealthy.
\nMy muscles had definition.
\nI looked like I was on a mission.<\/p>\n
A six pack was starting to show.
\nI had tons of energy, you know.
\nGirls were beginning to look my way.
\nIt was a ton of work, but worth every day.<\/p>\n
Addicts, let this be a lesson for you.
\nYou can become just like this to.
\nJust set your mind & save your life.
\nYou will have much less strain & strife.<\/p>\n
