Everyone here knows how to cry.
\nBut, I feel like I just might die.
\nThe loss for me is very personal.
\nA man crying is not a curse, you know.
\nShe was a star that everybody loved.
\nShe was brighter than the stars above.
\nWe had a relationship all our own.
\nI was always there when she got home.
\nIt was private. Very few people knew.
\nNo one knows how I yearn for you.
\nYour public life was above reproach.
\nEveryone thought you were the most.
\nBut, privately, I knew your fears.
\nI was there to dry your tears.
\nYou leaned on me for moral support.
\nI would erase every negative report.
\nYou were often on tour as a singer.
\nI would follow and always linger.
\nWe would meet when you were alone.
\nThen, I would always take you home.
\nYou said you were nothing without me.
\nThis was something I couldn\u2019t see.
\nYou wanted our life together to remain
\na secret. No one else would be the same.
\nThen came that day you took that plane.
\nI would come later, I had explained.
\nI couldn\u2019t tell you of my fear of flying.
\nI knew if I did it would lead to dying.
\nThen, the plane you were on went down.
\nAll my dreams smashed into the ground.
\nThe thought of you dying in despair.
\nI feel I really should have been there.
\nMy life and my love is gone.
\nAnd I was too afraid to come along.
\nThere is absolutely nothing I can do.
\nMy heart has died along with you.<\/p>\n
