\nThis hurt me more than you could know.

\nRemembering, I feel like I could die.
\nI have heard you call him your soulmate.
\nHe was \u2018the one\u2019 after only one date.
\nThat doesn\u2019t say a lot for me.
\nI tried for months to make you see.
\nWe were soulmates, but not so for you.
\nI wondered what else could I do?
\nIt seems my love was all in vain.

\nUntil the night of that awful day.
\nThe emotional pain is so extreme,
\nI feel like all I can do is scream.
\nSome friends say I should beat his ass.
\nBut, that would show very little class.
