Rebuilding A Soul<\/p>\n
Like pieces of broken glass, reflecting all the colors of the sun.
\nThere lies the soul of a man who has come undone.
\nThe emotional trauma that destroyed such a precious thing
\nseems so overwhelming that it simply can only be mean.
\nWhat would it take to restore this soul to its former state?
\nIt may require more than me. Do I have what it would take?
\nAll the shattered pieces must be reassembled correctly.
\nIf not, he will be unable to love. He will be inept, see.
\nIt will take great patience and care to do this thing.
\nOnce done correctly, his heart may yet, again, sing.
\nOnce assembled it will take trust to make it secure.
\nTrust is the only adhesive that will make it all adhere.
\nThat is the hardest part of the entire procedure.
\nPure trust, once destroyed, is hard to reclaim, I fear.
\nIf this all can be accomplished, what a revelation.
\nHere is a man who will resist all temptation.
\nA man who will love with all his heart and soul.
\nTo have such a man as mine is my goal.
\nIt will take all my skill and ingenuity as a woman.
\nHe was burned once. He must never know it again.
\nOnce I have rebuilt his soul, I will never let go.
\nNo one will ever know it was I who rebuilt his soul.<\/p>\n
