The Caves Of Time<\/p>\n
I have been exploring the Caves Of Time .
\nIt is driving me out of my mind.
\nI have pursued it for some time.
\nLet me tell you what I did find.<\/p>\n
First: What is the Caves Of Time?
\nIt is a trip you take in your mind.
\nIf you go there you will find
\nthings are different when out of time.<\/p>\n
You are taking a trip in your mind.
\nSo you are stepping out of time.
\nOnce you try it, you will find
\nyou can go to any period of time.<\/p>\n
Thus, I call it the Caves Of Time.
\nWhy is it driving me out of my mind?
\nIt is because you step out of time.
\nYou perceive things differently in your mind.<\/p>\n
Sometimes that\u2019s bad; sometimes it\u2019s kind.
\nThe end results, you will find,
\nis often quite different than real time.
\nI can\u2019t explain that in my mind.<\/p>\n
Just try it and you will find
\nthe trip will blow your mind.
\nYou may pull it off like a chime.
\nThen again, you may find:<\/p>\n
Things aren\u2019t the same out of time.
\nIs your memory not up to the grind?
\nMore likely, it will happen every time.
\nEven if your memory is fine.<\/p>\n
You are thinking this is just a rhyme.
\nYet, you can\u2019t explain the change in time.
\nI can remember when you were mine.
\nWe had fun all the time.<\/p>\n
Then, suddenly, I came to find.
\nSomehow, you were no longer mine.
\nFor that to happen, it took some time.
\nBut, in the \u2018Caves\u2019, it was no crime.<\/p>\n
Because I found it took no time.
\nThe time condensed. It was a sign.
\nA sign I have kept in mind,
\nas I explore the Caves Of Time.<\/p>\n
You say it\u2019s history, not a sign.
\nI just remember it all in my mind.
\nTime isn\u2019t needed to see the crime.
\nTime to get my thoughts in line.<\/p>\n
You may be right, yet I find.
\nI like it here in the Caves Of Time.
\nThe bad times fly by in my mind.
\nYet, I can linger on the good times.<\/p>\n
You think I am losing my mind.
\nYou say: \u201cGet out of the Caves Of Time.\u201d
\nCome back to reality and I will find.
\nYou still love me. It\u2019s not a crime.<\/p>\n
