Ode to 2016<\/p>\n
2016 is finally here.
\nDon\u2019t know if I should cry or cheer.
\nThings look rough in the world right now.
\nYet, I feel we will make it through somehow.
\nThings could be worse. They could always be better.
\nI still have family. We still get together.
\nMy health is fair. Working to improve it.
\nYou value your health, the older you get.
\nI hope your new year is great.
\nStill, be sure to not tempt fate.
\nMake sure your religious life is in order.
\nThings indicate we are on the border.
\nI don\u2019t want to preach gloom and doom.
\nI hope love in your life will bloom.
\nWhatever is in store, keep the faith.
\nMake the right choice before it\u2019s too late.
\nBe thankful for all you have every day.
\nHave a great year is all I can say.
\n2016 here we come.
\nHope you all have a lot of fun.<\/p>\n
