A Change Coming On<\/p>\n
I don\u2019t want to let you down.
\nBut, I know I am hell bound.
\nI wear my jeans too tight.
\nI often get into fights.<\/p>\n
The demons drive me on.
\nLook around & I am gone.
\nI run with the wrong crowd.
\nI would never make you proud.<\/p>\n
I doubt I can change my ways.
\nI\u2019m bad to the bone every day.
\nI smoke drink, & do any drugs.
\nI punch cops in the mug.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve been in and out of jail.
\nJust remember; I am a male.
\nI talk tough & walk the line.
\nI never back down. Not one time.<\/p>\n
Am I to take this off, like a dirty shirt?
\nChange my ways, despite the hurt?
\nStraighten up and fly right.
\nDon\u2019t be the stranger in the night?<\/p>\n
I can only do it for a cause.
\nA belief that is strong, without pause.
\nThat belief could be you.
\nI believe you could be true.<\/p>\n
Your love is worth the effort.
\nKnowing I would no longer get hurt.
\nAchieving a love once thought a dream.
\nYou and I as one is what I mean.<\/p>\n
If you are there, I will not be square.
\nI am the one who will always be there.
\nI will be honest, faithful and true.
\nI would do this and more for you.<\/p>\n
