I looked around and you were gone.
\nI had no idea what came over you?
\nIts happened before, I thought with a yawn.
\nI always figured you couldn\u2019t be true.<\/p>\n
And then along came Uncle John.
\nHe said: \u201cWhy is she gone?\u201d
\nI told him I didn\u2019t have a clue.
\nHe said: \u201cThat\u2019s because you are a fool.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sometime later, I met another.
\nShe was sweeter than apple pie.
\nShe wanted me to meet her mother.
\nI turned her down because I was shy.<\/p>\n
And then along came Uncle John.
\nHe said: \u201cWhy has she gone?\u201d
\nI told him I didn\u2019t have a clue.
\nHe said: \u201cThat\u2019s because you are a fool.\u201d<\/p>\n
I tried after that, but couldn\u2019t score.
\nThings just never went my way.
\nThey seemed to know what I was looking for.
\nYet, not one of them would ever stay.<\/p>\n
And then along came Uncle John.
\nHe said: \u201cHasn\u2019t one come along?\u201d
\nI said I didn\u2019t have a magic wand.
\nHe said: \u201c It\u2019s because you are a ding dong!!\u201d<\/p>\n
