Like a soldier under heavy fire.
\nI am fearing for my very life.
\nYou have said that I am a liar.
\nI am only avoiding pain and strife.<\/p>\n
Things have changed for you and me.
\nI am not the reason for it all.
\nThings are not the way they used to be.
\nIf, only, you would answer my call.<\/p>\n
Rumors have been spread.
\nThere is no truth to them at all.
\nI was not caught in her bed.
\nI wasn\u2019t even there at all.<\/p>\n
I am true blue and fit to be tied.
\nThere has to be a reason for this.
\nI am suffering because someone else lied.
\nI would like to beat them with my fist.<\/p>\n
You should know I wouldn\u2019t do this.
\nI have been with you for awhile now.
\nHave some faith in me, I wish.
\nI will prove it\u2019s a lie somehow.<\/p>\n
Then we can be as one again.
\nWe can always trust one another.
\nNeither should ever make amends.
