The Beginning<\/p>\n
Everyday I like to spend a little time
\nwalking in the woods with a friend of mine.
\nWe smell the pine scent on the breeze.
\nIt is warm and nice to put us at ease.
\nThe birds are singing. The sky is clear blue.
\nI love spending time this way with you.
\nWe come upon a sparkling blue lake.
\nFish are jumping. I find it hard to stay awake.
\nTime for lunch, so we spread out a blanket.
\nTo charge the radio I have to crank it.
\nMusic, food, a warm sunny day.
\nWhat more is there for me to say.
\nLife is good when I am with you.
\nI find that you are feeling likewise too.
\nWe start to talk. Generalities at first.
\nWe laugh about how things could be worse.
\nSoon, I am staring deep into your eyes.
\nThis leads to a kiss. What a surprise.
\nSoon you are snuggling close to me.
\nWe have become more than friends, you see.
\nWe have really gotten into each other.
\nI realize that there can be no other.
\nNo one else to walk in the woods with.
\nI hope that this will be a special gift.
\nOne for each of us to cherish.
\nPlease don\u2019t let this feeling perish.
\nWe both see this was meant to be.
\nI into you and you into me.
\nThere will be other walks in the woods.
\nI wouldn\u2019t change that if I could.
\nWhat we established on that first day.
\nWill always be here to stay.
\nFor the two of us have become as one.
\nThis will always be our day in the sun.<\/p>\n
