Man Finds His Pot Of Gold<\/p>\n
I would like to get on my own boat someday.
\nPlot my course and sail away.
\nI have a long distance goal in mind.
\nThat pot of gold at the end of the line.
\nThe one that is at the end of all rainbows.
\nThe one that is out where the grain grows.
\nThat \u2018non-existent\u2019 prize awaits.
\nFor anyone to get who has the faith.
\nMaybe it won\u2019t be actual gold.
\nMaybe it will be something untold.
\nI will recognize it when it comes along.
\nI will be dancing and singing my song.
\nFinally, the day did arise.
\nI quit my job and set off to find the prize.
\nI had studied sailing. I was\u00a0skilled in my ways.
\nThere would never be a better day.
\nI sailed from here to there.
\nAfter awhile, I had been almost everywhere.
\nThen, I finally sailed home.
\nI was back and all alone.
\nThis beautiful woman was at my port.
\nShe said \u201cNice boat. You must be a real sport.\u201d
\nI told her everywhere I had been.
\nShe said she wished she had gone then.
\nWe got to talking, and before long,
\nwe were having lunch and singing our song.
\nI invited her to go out on a short sail.
\nShe accepted. She loved sailing, without fail.
\nIn a couple months I realized I found it.
\nThat prize. That pot of gold. I could quit.
\nI found what I was looking for.
\nIt was here all along. Right at my door.
\nIt was her, who is now my wife.
\nLooks like happy sailing for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n
