Mystery Monster<\/p>\n
I saw the thing and I almost wrecked.
\nIt was driving a truck. It had no neck.
\nIt looked like evolution gone amuck.
\nWhat was it doing driving a truck?
\nIt was a throwback from all & no age.
\nIts vertically slitted eyes were filled with rage.
\nThis thing was to be avoided at all cost.
\nYet, the fascination with it was wroth.
\nI felt like I should stop it, but how??
\nThis thing was a least as big as a cow.
\nIt was doing 70 on a very slick road.
\nIts pickup wasn\u2019t carrying a load.
\nMaybe, with luck, it would spin out.
\nHave a wreck and bust its snout.
\nIt has to be an experiment gone bad.
\nFor it to be free is not very rad.
\nThen, ahead, there was a roadblock.
\nPolice stopping all in every lane stop.
\nThe \u2018thing\u2019 tried to ram its way through.
\nThe cops were after it, just like I knew.
\nI followed them all where they went.
\nThey blew out its tires, quite a stint.
\nThe truck flipped over & it flew out.
\nIt started running. They were all about.
\nThey filled it full of holes & down it went.
\nAfter awhile it was up, with a limp.
\nThey burned it with a flame thrower.
\nIt twitched & thrashed & became slower.
\nFinally, it was still, burned to a crisp.
\nWhat was the meaning of all this?
\nI am thinking I will never know.
\nTraffic was waved on, moving slow.
\nWhatever it was, I hope it\u2019s the last.
\nI almost threw up on my dash.<\/p>\n
