Political Devolvement<\/p>\n
I went to a political rally last night.
\nA tussle broke out turning into a fight.
\nSeveral ended up bloody and bruised.
\nThere were arrests that happened too.
\nThe end result was not productive.
\nIt was nothing except disruptive.
\nThey didn\u2019t prove any points at all.
\nExcept to show they have some gall.
\nNo one changed how they felt.
\nMany just wanted to give them a belt.
\nThey should say it in a non violent way.
\nFind someone who supports what they say.
\nHave them run for office some day.
\nThey could then support their effort.
\nLet them make their claim unfettered.
\nThat would be the American way.
\nAre things\u00a0that much different today?
\nCome on folks. We are all Americans.
\nDon\u2019t sell us short. Share with them.
\nHelp us all to come together.
\nWe can survive this stormy weather.
\nFreedom of speech is a special right.
\nDon\u2019t drag it down anymore tonight.
\nLet\u2019s keep alive the American dream.
\nLet\u2019s make peace and stop being mean.<\/p>\n
