The Desire Of Man<\/p>\n
Somewhere, deep in the heart of man.
\nIs the desire to do what he can.
\nTo try to overcome his sinful nature.
\nTo have God his care taker.
\nTotal surrender is the only way to try.
\nWith the Holy Spirit as your guide.
\nNothing is impossible for God.
\nIt is Him. Not you. That\u2019s not odd.
\nWho can say they can save themselves?
\nCan\u2019t be done. Even with the help of elves.
\nFall at the foot of the cross.
\nGive it all to God at all cost.
\nChrist and God are one & the same.
\nOnly difference is in the name.
\nIf you\u2019ve seen Christ, you\u2019ve seen the Father.
\nSome have asked \u201cWhere is the daughter?\u201d
\nIt is doubtful gender makes a difference.
\nBe He a prince—– or a princes.
\nThe Holy Spirit is an extension of Him.
\nThe Holy Spirit can lead you from sin.
\nLead you to total surrender.
\nThe law of sin in the flesh can render
\nan action contrary to Christ.
\nIt can be covered by His blood sacrifice.
\nHis righteousness will cover your sinful nature.
\nLeaving you perfect. He took your place here.
\nWhat more can we ask at such a price?
\nTo even think we deserve more isn\u2019t nice.
\nThrough His power, we can overcome.
\nTotal surrender means we are one.
\nWe become a new creature in Christ.
\nHe is the one who paid the price.
\nWe deserve all He was given.
\nYet, He tells us we are forgiven.
\nI am unworthy to be in His presence.
\nHis rightness protects me hence.
\nOh, wretched thing that I am.
\nI only desire to be with Him.<\/p>\n
