Time Slipping Away<\/p>\n
It seems like time kept slipping away.
\nHe decided to change things one day.
\nAfter 2 years of research he had it.
\nA single pill to make him fit.
\nHe popped the pill & time slowed down.
\nHe looked around with a frown.
\nAll seemed normal all around him.
\nThe clock has stopped, he said with a grin.
\nThen, VERY slowly. The door opened.
\nHis lab assistant was approaching.
\nIt took him 5 minutes to go 10 feet.
\nIt was weird, but pretty neat.
\nThe assistant couldn\u2019t see him move.
\nHe was much too fast to behoove.
\nTo him, the assistant was VERY slow.
\nHe had actually speeded up, you know.
\nThen, he realized, time wasn\u2019t slipping by.
\nIt was flying by. He started to cry.
\nThis wasn\u2019t the result he was hoping for.
\nHe hoped the change wasn\u2019t for good.
\nHe wanted to slow down, if he could.
\nEventually, the effects wore off.
\nHe looked around, with a cough.
\nHe didn\u2019t care about time slipping away.
\nHe decided he kind of liked it this way.
\nThe lesson learned here was very clear.
\nDon\u2019t rush it. Just kick back and have a beer.<\/p>\n
