High Hopes<\/p>\n
It feels like lightening running through my veins.
\nEvery time you look at me that way, it\u2019s the same.
\nIt could be magic or animal attraction for me.
\nWhatever it is, I like it, whatever it seems to be.
\nI don\u2019t know if you are aware of all of this.
\nOf how you send me into a passion of bliss.
\nI only pray I am doing the same to you.
\nIf it is no, it could break my heart in two.
\nBut, every indication says the answer is yes.
\nYou have set me apart from all the rest.
\nI have the feeling I\u2019m into something good.
\nFor once, my love life may turn out like it should.
\nThe little things mean so much to me.
\nThey make me happy and make me free.
\nI want to soar, like a kite in a strong wind.
\nI know, inside, you are much more than a friend.
\nWhere this is going, I have no idea.
\nI am in for the ride & want to still see ya.
\nIf it works out we will both be in 7th heaven.
\nOne complimenting the other like yeast & leaven.
\nWhat better way to spend our day,
\nthan doing everything our way.
\nAs the wind whistles through the trees,
\nso my thoughts are saying please.
\nPlease let this be what I am hoping for.
