Anticipation<\/p>\n
Everyone was getting ready.
\nTomorrow would be the day.
\nPeople excited, running around.
\nStirring up the dust of the ground.<\/p>\n
People have been waiting a long time.
\nThe time was close. Hard to unwind.
\nSomething so big it\u2019s hard to believe.
\nThis was no time to start to grieve.<\/p>\n
Preparations have been made for years.
\nThis was enough to bring people to tears.
\nThis is what they all have been waiting for.
\nGet your house in order. Open the door.<\/p>\n
This will be a major change.
\nThere will be no more tears or pain.
\nSome day we will take it in stride.
\nFor now, it will bring much pride.<\/p>\n
People will have to learn to adjust
\nOthers have taken care of the rest.
\nThis will be a fantastic event.
\nIt is GREAT!!, is what I meant.<\/p>\n
It will happen just about noon.
\nIt has got to happen soon.
\nThe grand opening is near.
