The Dragon Rider And The Wizard<\/p>\n
The Dragon Rider was on a flight.
\nHis dragon was fast. He held on tight.
\nThey dove, swooped, and looped around.
\nIt was lots of fun, he found.
\nThen, suddenly, something was wrong.
\nThe communication between them was gone.
\nTheir flight got wobbly, then plummeted.
\nIt took all his dragon\u2019s will to overcome it.
\nShe pulled out just in time.
\nThey skimmed the treetops with a whine.
\nSoon, communication & control returned.
\nThe dragon recited what she had learned.
\n\u2018We were hit by some sort of magic wave.\u2019
\n\u2018Next time we may crash, I am afraid.\u2019
\n\u201cOnly a wizard could wield such power.\u201d
\n\u201cI will locate him within the hour.\u201d
\nThe Dragon Rider had the dragon land.
\nHe set out on foot to beat the band.
\nHe knew approximately where to go.
\nHe would put a stop to this wizard\u2019s show.
\nSoon, he found a tower deep in the woods.
\nHe was very cautious, like a good knight should.
\nHe got to the wall without incident.
\nHe scaled the wall, using the grooves in it.
\nHe heard the wizard talking inside.
\n\u201cI crashed the dragon and her ride.\u201d
\n\u201cThe Dragon Rider will bother us no more.\u201d
\nHe laughed loud enough to vibrate the door.
\nThe wizard and another were no good.
\nThey were planning to rob the neighborhood.
\nThe Dragon Rider mentally alerted his dragon.
\n\u2018Time to fix this wizard\u2019s wagon.’
\n\u2018Come in fast. Dragon fire in the top window.\u2019
\n\u2018Make it hot enough to ignite kindle.\u2019
\nOnce done, the Dragon Rider entered the door.
\nSoon, the wizard and the other were on the floor.
\nHe had them bound and gagged.
\nHe filled their mouths with dirty rags.
\nHe hauled them into town to the pokey.
\nSmoke was still coming off his trophies.
\nSo, spread the Dragon Rider\u2019s fame.
\nKnown as Dragon Rider, none knew his name.
\nThat is how he wanted it to be.
\nFor, his story is not ended yet, you see.<\/p>\n
