Sick With The\u00a0Intestinal Flu<\/p>\n
Well, Holy Smokes, land sakes alive.
\nI never thought this would happen to me.
\nI have the intestinal flu (gastroenteritis), you see.
\nIt started in the stomach, gurgling and gas.
\nBefore long, I was super bloated, real fast.
\nIt hurt like hell and made me moan.
\nNothing was moving. I let out a groan.
\nLater, it moved to my gut.
\nGurgling & cramping. Just my luck.
\nI only had charcoal capsules to take.
\nIt sucked up some toxins & gave me a break.
\nNext day diarrhea set in.
\nFelt like a fire was burning within.
\nI had a low grade fever from the start.
\nKept feeling cold when it was a lark.
\nEnergy level went in the toilet.
\nI guess the fire within boiled it.
\nAfter one day the diarrhea stopped.
\nGurgling calmed, as likely as not.
\nEnergy level was coming back up.
\nNext day, I could barely get off my butt.
\nThis crap is hard to knock out.
\nI hope you never have a bout.<\/p>\n
